The movie NEERJA is a success because of the actual NEERJA

I have been thinking for quite a few days and was contemplating whether to start a topic on this or not. I decided why not. It's always fun to hear other people's opinions. The movie neerja has become a huge success and everyone is giving complete credit to sonam. I am not denying the fact that sonam has acted well in the movie but I honestly feel the movie is a success due to the actual neerja and her bravery. People are applauding the movie and are emotional about it because of the actual neerja and not sonam. So everyone saying that sonam is an extremely good actress, she can carry a movie on her shoulders need to realise that sonam chose to act in such a movie which is based on a true brave character. If any other actress had done the movie. The movie would have received the same amount of success because at the end of the day the real neerja is the reason and it's her story.

If this was the case why Mary Kom wasn't Block Buster!
Its a Team work Ram,Atul,Sawiyan and whole cast along with sonam nailed it to make believe this is real Neerja story.
ppl were saying neerja will be flop.so if real neerja story is the reason then why at trailer time ppl claimed it will be flop.
Accept it,its a team hard work 👏 and WOM was really good.the Buzz inspite of low screens and ban in Pakistan which Neerja got 👏 .. Whole team and sonam is applaud worthy too the way she promoted. Some ppl saw Neerja 7 times coz the way sonam portray the character if it was bad ppl would have bashing her.

Everyone associated with the movie is responsible.. there is a huge difference between Mary Kom and Neerja.. Neerja is no more and thus her story did intrigue a lot of people.. Sonam did a fair job too.. so Neerja along with everyone else associated with the movie is responsible for its success, especially the director.. he deserves a standing ovation👏

the movie was beautifully made, well directed, and performed by each and every member on board.
I salute the respect given to Neerja thru this movie.

many other biopics made, faltered...hell I even think Bajirao mastani sucked to an extent cos mastani performance was bloody lame.

true that real Neerja is the hero here n the crowd puller..
bt then again if Sonam did not have that caliber then would
the director producer cast her in that movie?it is no small tale
to take a mediocre actress..no one will gamble with that no one is
so lame or stupid..so i would say 60% real Neerja won..with her selfless act..
15% credit to producer director cast..rest of the credit come on let us be
generous give credit to sonam differentiate the actor from the personality
which many has issue i understand..bt then when watching a movie ur not seing
the personality bt the actor who portrays that character efficiently..
so sonam deserves that much respect at least..😊
