She started modeling when she was in school. Next, she was seen in various magazine photo shoots. She has done modeling for many popular brands in the market.

Kishwer was studying in her college when he was offered the role of "Nonie" in the serial "Hip Hip Hurray"1. The serial Hip Hip Hurray which aired on Zee TV in 1998 was one of the most watched serials by the college going as well as school going children.

Kishwer Merchant has acted in many serials in her career of 17 years including some of the most popular TV serials of all time.
