Ishitha was tired and was sleeping in the bed while Raman was staring at her. He was going to be a father soon and Ishitha was 3 weeks pregnant with their child. It was almost a miracle for them.
He saw the happiness on the faces of his family members today when Dr.Manoj came and told them that Ishitha was pregnant and that everyone should take care of her well.
Ruhi and Adi was so happy to have a baby brother or sister in their lives and Raman was so happy that finally he could give Ishitha the happiness she always craved in her life.
He bent down and kissed her forehead which woke her up.
"Raman what happened? Why are you awake? Can't you sleep? Come I'll make you sleep" with that Ishitha forwarded her hand to him which he took and cuddled to her happily and kissed her tummy and said "Baby please come soon. Mumma and papa is waiting for you"
"Yeah baby come soon. Your papa has become too emotional these days as well" and laughed to which Raman asked "Do you really think so?"
"Raman parents do get emotional during this time. You always love kids. We were waiting for our baby and now when I got pregnant you have got so emotional. And that's why you have locked me at home and doesn't let me go to the clinic even." said Ishitha complainingly pouting her lips.
"Ishitha I'm scared to send you anywhere. That's why I asked you not to go. Please try to understand. I promise I will come soon everyday and take you for a walk every evening".
"Really Raman. Will you do so?" asked Ishitha excitedly.
"Yeah. Definitely".
"Thank you Raman. I love you a lot" said Ishitha happily.
"I love you more"
And then they cuddled to each other and slept.
Days went on. Ishitha stopped going to clinic and stayed at home. Raman used to wake up early morning everyday and help Adi and Ruhi to get ready to school. Then Ishitha's morning sickness has started and she used to vomit in the morning where Raman was always near her. He use to help her get ready and then he himself would get ready and go for work.
Ishitha was enjoying all the pampering a lot. Raman was always with her. Then after he went for office her mummy ji and amma would take care of her. After Ruhi and Adi returns from school they also spend a lot of time with her. Then after 5 in the evening Raman would return and take her for an evening walk everyday. In days he was busy he would send Mihika soon from office and instruct her to take Ishitha for a walk.
In Ishitha's 4th month of pregnancy she woke up one night and called out to Raman.
"Raman,Raman wake up nuh..."
"Yeah Ishitha what happened? You need anything? Water?"
"Raman I want to eat sitapal ice cream"
"Oh ok. Tomorrow morning I'll get you. Now sleep. Come"
" No Raman I want now "
" Ishitha where can I find it now. Please it is not good to eat ice cream in the night anyway nuh. Now sleep. "
" I told you Raman you don't love me anymore. Akka said right. Once I become fat you won't love me. But what can I do. It's your baby nuh. Your so insensitive . I only asked for an ice cream but you don't want to give that as well " cried Ishitha like a baby.
" Oh god these mood swings are killing me " muttered raman to himself. " Ok baby listen. I love you a lot. Your more beautiful even than before. You don't worry. You stay here I'll bring".
"I also want to come"
"Ishitha please understand. Amma and Maa will kill me if they know that I gave you ice cream at this time of the night. And if I take you along they'll scold me even more. So please you stay. I'll bring".
"Ok then bring soon"
Raman drived for a long time but couldn't find sitapal ice cream. Then finally he went to a small ice cream shop and found the flavour and bought it for his lovely wife.
When he went home Ishitha was sitting on the bed pouting her lips waiting for Raman. Raman pecked her lips and said " Here baby I brought your ice cream".
Ishitha's face immediately lit with happiness seeing the ice cream. She soon started eating it. She ate the ice cream like there was no tomorrow. Raman was so happy to see her happiness. After eating the full ice cream Ishitha said " Thank you Raman. I love you a lot". And then look and him and remembered that she didn't give him a bit of the ice cream.
"I'm sorry Raman I didn't keep ice cream for you"said Ishitha almost crying.
"Don't worry. I know how to take my share" and took her lips I'm his. She was shocked as it was sudden but then she soon started responding with equal passion. They kissed for a long time and broke apart for breath.
"Hmmm the ice cream was really very tasty" said Raman to which Ishitha blushed beet red. Seeing her blush Raman couldn't resist himself and he started kissing all over Ishitha's face and then started kissing her jawline to which she moaned in pleasure. Within seconds their clothes were on the floor and they made gentle love that night satisfying each other.
Days passed on and Ishitha was in her 5th month of pregnancy with quite a big baby bump. One morning after Raman made Adi and Ruhi ready he came to his beautiful pregnant wife. She was still sleeping like a small child and Raman went near her and planted a kiss in her forehead to which she opened her eyes and said "Good Morning"
"Good morning my pretty wife. You slept well? "
"Hmmm"
"Ok now let's get ready. Mummy is making your breakfast. First tell me what you want to wear" and Raman opened the cupboard for Ishitha to select. She said she wanted to wear her pink saree. So Raman took it out with the blouse and kept it neatly on the couch and took Ishitha to the bathroom to help her to wash herself. After a wash Ishitha wore her towel and came out with Raman and sat on the couch and looked at the saree.
"Come Ishitha I'm getting late also. Quickly wear this saree. "
"I don't want this saree. I want the green one"said Ishitha stubbornly.
"But you only wanted this nuh"
"But I want the green one now "
"Ok I'll bring it"
He brought her green saree. She stood up to wear it and said "No I don't want this. I want the red and white one"
"Ishitha what's wrong in this. Please wear this baba"
"No I said nuh. I want that one" said Ishitha adamantly.
"Ok this time you have to wear it. Ok? "
"Ok"
Again Raman brought it and she wore half the saree and said " I want the blue one. Not this"
Raman got angry with Ishitha's behaviour so he scolded her.
"Ishitha what is this? This is the third saree today. Now you won't change. You will wear this"
"No I won't " saying this Ishitha removed the saree and sat on the couch with the blouse and skirt.
"Ishitha..."Raman said sternly.
"Go away. I know you don't love me. I don't care. My children love me even though I'm fat. You like slim girls nuh. So you go and stay with them"
Raman couldn't stop but let out a laugh due to Ishitha's childish complains. He kneeled down and said "Ishitha how much ever fat you are I don't care. I love you always and will further do. Ok if you want I'll bring the blue saree. Light Blue or dark blue? "
"Dark blue" said Ishitha with a pout.
"Ok"
And then finally Ishitha wore the dark blue saree. She wore it and turned around and said "Today I don't look much fat". And then Raman understood the reason behind Ishitha's sudden mood swing to change so much sarees in a day.
