Having been sent on a run around and marinated in guilt, Arnav finds his wife was in the house the WHOLE time!! (How did she check in at the Paratha place then... I'm guessing Payal and Aakash were in on this prank. .đ)
He opens Nani's room door and finds her there. The very face he'd been wanting to see since he woke up that morning. Relief, missing, unadulterated love was shining in his face to see her adorable face.
What?! You were here the whole time??
She shrugs. "Why yes ! "

She immediately pouts. Cutesy childlike little pout with hurt puppy dog eyes. Here I was thinking he'd sweep me off my feet and turn it into a memorable day, and here comes Mr. Grouchy and his danda.
She turns to attack. " YOU'RE ANGRY ! I'm mad at you and you have the cheek to scold me ?! Forget it , I don't want to speak to you anymore ! " she bundles him out of the room and barricades herself.
He's immediately contrite when faced with outer aspect of the door. Great job manao-ing her Arnav.. đ.. But seriously I found the argument stupendously cute !!

I literally dissolved in a puddle of mush at his tone. Cajoling, loving, babyish, in that tone only husbands use in the bedroom when no one else is around. Best indication of how loving a relationship they have shared til now.
Inside, those words in that tone has a devastating effect. Khushi is instantly melting, not happy that she caused her Arnavji to feel abandoned , instead of just guilty.
The battle was lost, in a matter of minutes, but love always won.
Okay I'm gonna be sighing the whole day after this...
