Twinkle Bajpai (Lakshmi of Zee's Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan) will be taking part in a dandiya rock in Surat.

An ex-contestant of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, she is all geared up for the Navratri show with music director Ismail Darbar.



The excited actress tells us, "I will be leaving for Surat on the 13th with Ismailji. I don't know Gujarati so he will be my biggest guiding force." Twinkle has recorded a song for the films Riwaaz and Ek Anjana Sa with Hariharan and Kumar Sanu.

She admits that it will be difficult to manage doing the show and Betiyaan. "I'm trying my best and shooting for a bank of episodes for my serial so that there won't be any problem for the production house."

Praising Twinkle Ismail Darbar says, "She is a fantastic singer and regularly does her riyaz. She is a good actress too and I am looking forward to perform with her."

she iz great but sometimes i feel she overacts in da drama no offense

i remember twinkles performances on srgmp 2005. sh gave some fantastic performances. it was obvious tat she had learnt singing. she was she had gone straight to the finals going over the winner himani.
she was a little immature sometimes and that took her focus off. she still is one of my favorites from that show. i loved her there. her Daiya re daiya main kahan aa phansi and hangama ho gaya were reat. and in EMAET with Vishwas, mujhe nau lakha managa de....were Superb. they can be seen on 'youtube'.

She over acts sometimes thats ust my opinion though she is great.
