It is not like that. there is no compulsion to sign contract. Last year Indian Idol offered 1-2 years contract to Karunya but he didn't sign because their family already have a music school in Hyderabad, he was already getting many offers, he had money and he had plans to compose music.

That is not the case with Amanat and Raja. They don't have much foothold in the industry and it is difficult to survive with such cut-throat competition. By signing Zee's contract they still can sing for movies and all. The contract is mainly applicable for stage shows and today stage shows are a big deal and money spinner. It will give them more exposure and interaction with audience. I think it was wise decision by them to sign contract. At the end of the day only ones who have talent will survive. Channel can only give them a boost, it is them who needs to work hard. That is why last year's winner failed but this year all of them are capable.

yhh agree with u maya..its only abt LIVE stage shows , contract is not stopping them to sing in movies😃

do you have proof that raja sign contract. On other web site it says raja did not sign thats why he was at surat in garba.

Zee cancel contract with surat and did not allow mauli and aneek to attend garba but raja , poonam, musrat was there

Raja went there on Monday.

But Zee cancelled the contract on Tuesday when Aneek and Mauli were supposed to go.
