Few weeks back we went to an advanced European country for some official purpose. One Friday my boss told me you can not come to office today because not transport will not be available. There is a 'demonstration' planned which we called strike. The reason behind the same was the Syrian refugees. Thousands gathered holding placards saying 'we are against multiculturalism , 'we are against multi-racism'...Can you imagine such protests in India even in dream????

Indians, nay, Yindoos will be called Nazis if this ever happened here. But how could it happen unless it was stage managed? India has been a refuge for even the meanest people on the planet, yes, those same people who've been persecuted everywhere else on the globe because of their inherent meanness.

Every day you'll read an article or two about villages in UP where even cops don't want to help these people. Sad.

True...But still they are thriving much more better than they would have, in any other country...In that sense, the statement made by Salim Khan is right on the point!

These days, being from from lower caste is a blessing, u get free education, govt jobs, early promotion, subsidy etc. Now RBI has laid down another ridiculous guideline - if u reject a loan of a lower caste or dalit, then a higher authority will have to reject it with a proper explanation lol where are we heading? Looks like being from the upper caste have become a stigma

You can't blame the common man for what the Politicians and the people in the power do...The common man is just as much a victim of the system, as his neighbor irrespective of which caste, religion or creed he belongs to...Its unfair to sum up the whole nation as intolerant just depending upon what the politicians say or do...

I agree how does this Salim Khan know what happens in their neighboring country. Only what the politicians & the media say are not always true.

You want to say India is great fine but can be said without comparing what other country do.
