~The Hurt~Pain, The Apologies, The Decision~

"What do you think of yourself Mr. Raizada? How dare you behave like that in front of people?" Khushi asked Arnav angrily pulling off his hand from her waist.

"Those good-for-nothing men were ogling at you..." Arnav hissed

"Then let them. It's me who was being looked at & not you. Mind you Raizada you don't hold any right on me so better stay in your limit." Khushi spoke without even thinking for a millisecond.

Arnav, who heard her lost his self-control & in a moment Khushi was caged between the table & him. Coming closer to her, Arnav spoke in a dangerously low voice, "Khushi remember one thing, everything that concerns you is my priority. You are MINE & I'm very very possessive of my belongings and the loved ones. And you being my first priority, I don't like anyone eyeing you. You like it or not but you're mine and I'm possessive about you. So never question on my behavior to such things."

Arnav ended while Khushi looked at him in horror. Khushi looked lost. After 3 long years she had seen the same possessiveness in Arnav that he held for her in college. Their close proximity & then his possessiveness scared her to hell. She knew Arnav was possessive about her but never thought it was to this extent after those days in past. She wanted to melt in those chocolate brown orbs that showered love and possessiveness but then in a flash her past came haunting her.

She looked at him with her changing expression from soft to hard, love to hate, maybe. She jerked off his hands from the table that were caging her and then holding Arnav by his collar, she spoke, "This all doesn't suit you Arnav. You claim to be possessive about me... Then where were you all those years back? Where were you when I was screaming for you? Where were you when Jay was misbehaving with me? Where were you when Priya was accusing me? Where were you when I cried for you to trust me? Where was your possessiveness when Jay claimed that I belonged to him and not you? Answer me Arnav... Where was your so-called possessiveness at that time?" She stopped and jerked off his collar. Her breaths came in short as she gasped for air. Her eyes held accusations, hurt, betrayal... Everything but Love, for now.

She slumped down on the sofa and held her face between her palms and rubbed her face as if trying to rub her hurtful past. Arnav stood there motionless. He knew whatever Khushi said, whatever Khush accused him of was all true. He didn't save her from the harm. He didn't support her. Instead stood against her.

They are in Arnav's car now as Arnav requested her that he would drop her home as she shouldn't go alone late at night.
