Rani's talent of taanebaazi is far more sharper than Rana's talent of talwarbaazi. Rani leaves no stone unturned to hit back Rana on his Jungle wali night out. One more day and Rana will get himself a Phd in Patni dharma shastra under the guidance of Prof. Rani Gayatri Devi.

So, Ranaji will sell one of his palace to pay back his loans before Diwali. Hmm.. if there was any choice of selling aeroplanes or palaces, why didn't he do all these before getting married ?
Rani is annoyed but er.. well.. she too claimed that she will make this man fall in love before Diwali Why is she annoyed in first place ? With love or without love Rana is suppose to live a loan free life. But Rani's attempt to do household chores was so dangerous that she was declared 'almost dead' by the doctor...The doctor is just awesome or rather well tutored by Yoshada to speak those lines. Rani ji is loitering in the palace, making coffee ,reading romantic novels or taunting the Rana himself. Yet her halat is too nazuk at this moment. Interestingly, Rana buys this story.

But koi nahi... every cloud has a silver lining and filhaal Amerkot is surronded by host of such clouds. Counting each cloud with one silver lining, we have ample of choices for the royal couple at this moment. So, Baba's darbar to get help from looks the most plausible one. Hmm... so Baba does some weird things and voila! Rani is hail and hearty in the next episode.

Dipped in maple syrup but sarcasm it surely is...but I loved the irony of the posting as well as the episode itself...Logic has flown out of the palace window when Rajmata decide to sojourn out of the Raj mehel...
I'm really missing Rajmata and her devilish rockstar Rajneti

I'm really missing Rajmata and her devilish rockstar Rajneti

Oh yes! I am missing both Rajmata and the old Gayatr.
I had high hopes for the character of Gayatri. Her character has many layers. I liked how her father declared that she was more qualified than her brothers to take over his business but since she is a girl he cannot let her have it. I liked how she makes mistakes unlike the 'perfect' bahus or betis of Indian television. She is ready for her punishment anytime but never compromises with her dreams and self respect. So what if my mother wants me to marry an old man, I shall try everything I can to meet the man of my dreams. Somehow I wanted her to remain like that.

Even when the truth was out she declared she will win over Ranaji. That was one of the best episode I guess where she gave it back to Rana for the words. Then what happened is very interesting. He challenged her modesty. He let her die in the Jungle. Yet if he cares for her because he knows he is guilty, if he cares because Rajmata or Swarna is not available to do it on his behalf, if he does it because she was shot by an unknowm man which has questioned the security system of the whole royal family', its still Pati dharma that man is doing. Where is the fire Gayatri ?

I thought Gayatri would polish herself on the lines of Rajmata so that Rana notices her. Making coffees aren't the only thing on Earth to woo your husband.

Then Rajmata wanted the news of Gayatri's condition to be kept silent so as Seths doesn't come to know about it. Yet she makes one such risky plan to bring the couple together. I am to believe the richest man of Amerkot keeps no knowledge about his only daughter who is also the queen of Amerkot. Such news remain secret only because Chacha has been kidnapped ?

The show has changed a lot. Its not what it promised earlier.

There is patent lack of logic but the question is if it is deliberate and for it to be explained at a later date. I am going to wait and watch on this one, if it was just lazy, inconsistent writing or something for a later time!
Irrespective, the execution was shoddy. Even if it is a set up, the edges should have been smoothed to make it not seem fake!

On Rana ji, I understand that the man is distraught enough to want to try whatever is being suggested. He is weighed in by guilt and despair, because he is directly responsible for what has transpired!

Gayathri's behavior has to be put down to nothing more than disappointment over failed expectations. One minute she is in the clouds because irrespective of what she says to Rana ji, she believes he cares for her as a husband. Then she is confronted with what she sees as proof that he wants her out by Diwali. So she loses it!

I think they are focusing on the love story and the reconciliation for the moment. All other aspects of both lead characters are being sacrificed for the moment to make room for that!

I don't think Seth ji not knowing is so unbelievable. Unless he's paid a palace maid or something to be an informer. Palaces are known to be places where secrets remain buried for generations even!

Yes, the execution and writing often leave a lot to be desired. Time they pulled up their socks!

But then Seth ji is paying for the expenses in the Rajmahal. I cannot believe he has no informer posted there especially after what happened during the wedding itself. As a matter of fact when daughters from such rich families are sent to her sasural, she is send with a group of maids of her own. They are suppose to take care of her.
At this point of time when the royal family is insecure both financially and politically, I cannot believe Sethji won't know about it because Rajmata doesn't want him to know about it.

What he could have is one thing. What he did is another. We did not see him sending an entourage with his daughter. So it is not impossible that he cannot know...as simple as that!

First of all I respect your POV . 😊 Thank you for replying

@Bold
I know he didn't or at least the makers didn't show us that. I am trying to understand why he didn't. That doesn't really go with either the time period or the repute of the person.
Also, it was after the second world war. . I find it totally unbelievable that the King carried his Queen on his arms all the way twice( once after the jungle incident and then to the Baba's darbar ) and yet no body knew about it.

Logic in Tv shows is altogether an irrelevant thing to ask for. If we think that way then ..well... its not impossible at all.

you are talking of royalty when you talk of entourages accompanying them. Probably the idea never struck him.

On the media, there may have been yellow journals here and there that would have ferreted out gossip. It would take time for the news to trickle, for it to reach the newshounds and then for it to be printed. Also, for even a concerned third party to reach the news to reach Seth ji.

I don't think they have yet established that kind of timeline. All of these events, starting from the jungle night, have occurred in the space of about 36 hours.

However, agree with you on the lack of logic why only in TV shows but even in most of our films
