I know we already have a movie topic for the movie but I felt we should have a separate one for the music. A.R.Rahman is back and how! I, for one, am a HUGE fan and I have sky-high expectations from the music of the movie. I've always loved his compositions and he's delivered magic with Imtiaz Ali in Rockstar and Highway.

So anyway, what's your take on the music of Tamasha? Was the music worth the wait? I'm really intrigued at the range of singers ARR has roped in for Tamasha - the regular Mohit Chauhan aside, we have Mika Singh and Lucky Ali!! And Alka makes a comeback after so long!! I'm listening to the album right now; I'll be back with my thoughts on the songs!

OMG...Alka Yagnik??? She is sounding like how Lata sounded at her 80s...😕...Beautiful song though...

lata runied the songs like do pal ruka kuwaboon ka karwaan, tere leya hum hain jeeiye or humko humse churalo she sounded so anty in these...once she was out of tone while performing live with sonu nigam the song khamoisyaan gungunane lagi :( i feel bad for alka she is going thorugh the same phase and even kumar sanu he lost his voice too

Chali kahani, Matargashti, safarnama are awesome. Heer toh badi sad hain will be the most popular soundtrack

Listened to all the songs...OH God! Such a boring album! 🥱

Safarnama and Tu Koi aur Hai these songs almost put me to sleep...mid morning nap! 🥱

Tum Saath Ho...Arijit and Alka both sound horrid, wish Shreya had sung the female part and Mohit the male one. Song is not too bad but the singers are wrong choice by ARR.

Heer toh badi sad hai sounds a lot like Saari raat main katiyan karoon from Rockstar.

ARR has lost his touch! Songs are mostly boring and repititive!

ONLY Matargashti is an interesting song, has good beats and change of rhythm in the middle makes it unique!
