Going back to Mayka would be an option but in 1940s that would be suicidal, not only for G but also for her father. Her options are limited. She needs to fight back, whether she wants to win Ranaji's pyar or not, its another story but she needs to fight back to win her self esteem, her self respect and mostly find peace.

I'm curious to see how they take this forward, without making her another doormat suffer in silence churned by husband bride.
Her Maykawalas couldn't wait to get rid of her, her parents reluctantly but other made it clear, she has no place.
I would love to see her joining some revolutionary movement & leave both the families behind for a while. i know, it won't happen😆

Revolutionary movement against the British...I wonder if Mahatma was already in town or not...that would be super good. Rani Gaytri in khadi kapade, not silk without jewels, fighting for the rights of the janta...awesome twist.

You are right, not another doormat suffering wife; I think they will show G pouring out tons of tears but she'll steel herself to proof her point. In a way, I think she might just come to hate the pyar vagera emotions...

The next move by the CVs will be very interesting...

Yes, Gandhiji was in town, and this story happens in 1942 I guess,it was the height of Quit India movement and all.If i remember Indian history correctly, the winds of change had already started. That's what prompted Gto say the Britsih will go but Ranaji will remain in Ameerkot. They have scope for lot of awesome twists, if they look at the changes that were happening then.

Right, but there's something else, Ranaji has already unconsciously put Gayatri sindhoor, with his blood, I think it's a sign that he will also fall in love with her, quite unconsciously.
