"I wish I could freeze this moment, right here, right now and live in it forever."
- Suzanne Collins, Catching Fire
..
Entering a dark room, I was suddenly slammed against the closed doors. My heart began to race as I looked around the room. It was filled with nothing but pure darkness. Before I could react properly, I felt someone gripping onto my wrists. I tried to free them instantly but the grip was too strong.
"Stop fighting it," his deep voice echoed through the walls.
I didn't reply. It was a waste of time replying; instead I struggled more to free myself.
"Enough," he demanded before pressing his body against mine.
My breath hitched whilst he brushed his lips against my collarbone. I involuntarily let out a soft moan. I could feel his lips curving at my reaction to his touch.
I hated that.
His soft lips followed to the corner of my lips as he stated, "With this kiss Khushi Kumari Gupta, I now pronounce you my lawfully wedded wife."
His lips touched mine and within seconds they were under his spell. I couldn't move nor did I want to. It was wrong but it felt right. He didn't have the right to do so, but he did. He was indeed my husband; my lawfully wedded husband of two hours, fourteen minutes and thirty three seconds.
His right hand pulled my wrists above my head while his left hand roamed my curves. His lips ravished mine as I stood there, helplessly enjoying every bits of it. His tongue explored every corner of my mouth as if it were his home. Nibbling and biting my lower lip with his teeth, he knew exactly what to do to get me on my knees.
He pulled away and I groaned in frustration. "I know you want me Khushi. Stop denying the attraction. It will only make it worse because I love the chase." I looked straight into his eyes, leaning closer to his lips.
His lips began to form a curve as I spat,
"I want to kill you."
