and about pam...right now her only agenda is getting her brother's image back by hok or crook and nivedita is the biggest hurdle ...hence we see her standing against her ...pam is protective obsessively of her brother and the kids..she would never harm the kids nor let anyone else wither ..as per her plan once everything is back to normal..this marriage ends and she ,neil nad kids are back to US...and the only time she is going to flip is when this marriage would not end and neil and ragini get back together...slowly her importance would diminish from his life with ragini back and the kids too would want to bond with her...this insecurity if instigated by a lot of nonsense espeically by nivedita will push her to the dark side and she would once again hate ragini assuming she wants to snatch everything again from her ...
she is a character that has layers and reasons for her reaction...and this would be how they show a mother's insecurity as well ..
