Today is the day ! The unforgettable day when the earth was blessed with the entry of a very special person , who's destined for great things and who's currently winning the heart of the nation and dhoom machaoing through his performance as the young Ashoka as the lead role of the super hit show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.

The emperor of our hearts.
The Heart throb of millions.
A pure talent ball.
Nation level gymnast , inspired actor , all round performer , perfectionist.

Not just that, he's a wonderful son, brother , friend , student and most importantly, a wonderful, humble , down to earth , fun loving , hard working boy.

Siddharth Nigam was born on 13th September, 2000. in Uttar Pradesh ( India ). His family comprises of elder brother Abhiskek , 17 year old and his mother , having lost his father early in life. They're a very close knit family. He lost his father at a young age and his mother has struggled a lot for Siddharth and his elder brother. He is studying in Khelgaon Public School, in Allahabad Uttar Pradesh. He was passionate about Gymnastics since childhood and inspired by his mother a lot to continue this. He's very serious about his studies , and he finds time windows for his studies even between hectic shooting schedule. He always manages to secure good marks in his exams.

His brother helps him in mathematics and he helps Abhishek in handcrafts . The brothers share great bonding . Their mother regularly cooks for the boys , and Siddharth's favorite food is Maa ke hath ka bana hua " Kurkuri roti , chawl, daal aur chatni. "

He is a national-level gold medalist gymnast. Altogether 27 students from Khelgaon participated in the 58th National School Games in which the cynosure of all eyes in the games was Siddharth Nigam, a talented student who bagged gold in parallel bar and silver in high bar. His ambition is to win gold medal in Olympics.

Currently, he is essaying the role of Samrat Ashoka in the historic series Chakravartin Samrat Ashoka. He truly amazed viewers with his chiselled body, the focus on his performance , his simple language and down to earth behaviour.

"I was sitting at home when I saw the first promo Samrat Ashok, which gave me goose bumps. I was excited about the show, two days later I got a call for the audition. I came, performed and guess they liked my stance and look for the show and brought me on board." - Siddharth on landing the role of Ashoka.

Siddharth Nigam might be just 14 year old of age , but the moment he appears on screen as young Ashoka (who'll later turn into Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat), he seems invincible! His sharpness as a performer, fiery body language, and poised expressions magnetizes the viewers easily, who are taken in by surprise every time Siddharth appears on screen as the Young and confident Ashoka.

But stardom has grounded him even more as a person, as he calmly reflects- "I am scared, because it's Ashoka and his story is being told on TV for the first time. But I am confident about its success because people will watch it as they want to know more about him. It will help people know of history in an entertaining way."

No doubt he has immortalized the greatest emperor of India and one of the greatest emperors of the world history once again by his perfect portrayal of Ashok and set a high bench mark for his successor , that'll be very hard to fulfill.

He was the find of esteemed producer Late Yash Chopra. Yash Chopra saw him in the National School Games at Pune which had participants from all the states and Educational boards of the Country.

Seeing the talent of Siddharth Nigam, Chopra signed him for the multi starrer movie Dhoom: 3. He played the role of young Aamir Khan in the movie. Siddharth's knowledge has been enriched as he went to Mumbai, Chicago and America for the shooting of the movie.

Siddharth Nigam played the role of young Aamir Khan in Dhoom: 3. He showcased his excellent performance and charming presence in the film.

About the role he said, "I had no problem doing any of the scenes. The only time I had a problem was when I had to call Jackie Uncle, 'Papa'. That felt strange. Otherwise kab shuroo hua kab khatam pataa nahin chala. Bahot mazaa aaya. When I saw myself on screen, it felt like it was someone else, not me. Amitabh Uncle was there. I had never in my wildest dreams imagined I'd actually see him in personal some day."

Siddharth essayed the role of young Rudra who was born with extraordinary powers in Life OK's Mahakumbh. As a child, Rudra was separated from his family and raised by Maii-Muii. He learnt the purpose of his powers, which is related to the secrets of Mahakumbh. Gautam Rode , the successor of Siddharth in the show, as adult Rudra was all praise about Siddharth's six pack abs and ripped muscled torso.

He has started his journey , and with talent and hard work and determination like his, and viewer's love and blessings surely he'll rule over the entire sky all it's stars at his disposal .

"I am still a kid, so there's a long time to decide that. Its not a big thing to jump from movies to television. I enjoy doing both and will continue so. I believe you should experience everything in life."

Happy birthday to you and love you so much Siddharth Nigam . You are truely an inspiration though you are still very young . I can not imagine how you juggle your hectic shooting schedule with your studies , excercise, gym practice and other extracarricular activities .
