Not sure if you've already bought one but if you still haven't, I suggest Dell. I use two laptops: Dell and HP but the latter is not so great compared to Dell's performance. HP is good for a work tool but Dell is good for your kind of work. Oh and even Lenovo is really good

Btw IF interface design has been revamped ðŸ˜²

Thanks for your replies guys. :) 
No, I haven't bought it yet. Planning to today. Reason I said "except Apple"  is only because that's my backup option. I know they are the best, and nothing can typically go wrong buying a Macbook Pro. Although, I like trying out different laptops, therefore I'm considering other options.

I've jotted down to 2 laptops. 

Macbook Pro 2014 15 inch screen

16gb Ram
256 gb HDD 
8 hours of battery life ... 
$2899


 ASUS ROG G751JL-DS71   17 inch screen




16gb ram
1056 HDD
Gaming laptop, therefore strong processor 
3 hours of batter life
$ 1450
