*** We've had amazing responses for all our contests conducted during this special celebration month. A Big thank you to everyone who participated in the Member awards, the Signature Contest, the Caption Contest, and the Distortion Contest, and thanks to everyone who voted for the Sig and Captions!! All the awards/prizes for the winners will be be given away during our Betiyann Awards Night, on October 6th, 2007. Don't miss it! There'll be lots of masti and dhamaal and tons of surprises awaiting you on that special night. So be there!!!!

Been busy the entire week and was too busy to read the updates? Or just lazy? Hehe, jk... well this section is for you! We will be posting the summary of the entire week all in one paragraph.

Suryakant gets a job as a sales man in a showroom. Savitri sees him treated badly by the customers and feels bad. But surya tells her that they have to learn to live with this life. He promises her that he will rebuild the Garodia empire once again, the way he did all those yrs ago. Savitri extends her support to him.

In Goa, Laxmi finds Karan on the beach. He reveals the truth to her that he married her to avenge all that his parents were put thru by her father. He also tells her that Surya was responsible for his mother's humiliation. Laxmi realises that Karan is mistakenly believing something that isn't true, and she vows to get to the real truth. Karan tortures Laxmi, every single chance he gets. But she hides all this from her family.

Later when Laxmi calls Surya on the phone and brings up Karan's dad, Raman Mathur... Surya is disturbed as to why she has brought up Raman's name after all these yrs.

Menka is constantly humiliated by Kajri and Rasili. Kajri gifts Menka ghungroo and mujra clothes and makes her dance a mujra number in front of other kothewaalis... Menka is devastated at the way she was disgraced in front of everyone. She even regrets the day she gave birth to a son like Yuvraj.. who has succeeded in turning his owm mom into a kothewaali... a son for whom she betrayed her husband and her whole family, who in turn betrayed her for a kothewaali.

Surya, Savitri, and Baa celebrate Betiyann Divas with the daughters and make the day extra special for them.

Scene of the Week

The scene when Kajri tells Menka that she owns all of Menka's sarees now as Menka is a woman whose husband has deserted her, and it doesn't look good now that Menka wear such sarees .
