So Gayatri is 27 🤔 ... Now this explains why her mother is going fanatic looking for her marriage proposal and accepting anything and everything thats coming her way ... Even in today's times ,most conservative or orthodox middle class families especially in small towns start panicking if girls dont get married by 27-28 , here toh its 1945 we r talking about when girls used to become a mother at the age of 21-22 only or even less ..So it makes sense why the panic here ... I m glad CVs clarified her age today from her mother's mouth only since I was wondering from the beginning itself about her age the way her mother kept saying how so many yrs have passed , yet no rishta coming for her ... So in that sense she will make a perfect jodi with Ranaji as he must b in his mid 30s too 🤔 ...
Mother-Daughter scene near the puja-ghar was touching but again I dint feel any sympathy for the mother ...Whatever mayb her reasons for getting her married to that old guy , but her logic is clearly flawed here .. What is the guarantee that the old guy wont die before Gayatri's own parents since he seems to b older than her father too ...So then what secure future Gayatri will hv ?That of a widow ?? ... And the way Damyanti was showing her excitment by asking servants to clean the house and change the bedsheets , it looked as if she is getting her daughter married to some Rajkumar which obvioulsy is not the case 😡 , so I dint get her excitment here .. As mother she should hv been rather sad that she is throwing her daughter into a suicidal marriage ...
I really felt bad for Gayatri .. She is holding onto that last hope and waiting for Ranaji's reply to that letter .. sighhh 😭...When she heard about her engagement today itself , she even told her mother about how she wrote a letter to Ranaji and waiting for his reply .. This proves how her heart is so pure that she dont want to hide anything from her parents as she do not consider her love for Ranaji wrong 👍🏼 ; Irrespective of her mother repeatedly telling her that Ranaji is not in her destiny , she is still keeping her hopes alive till she gets a reply from him .. Hats off to her self-belief and positivity 👏👏
Now comes the much awaited scene ... Face off between Rajmata and Govind Seth over RaGa marriage proposal 😎...So Rajmata got this idea while Yashodha was reading Gayatri's love letter to her ... Must say Rajmata has got a smart presence of mind and she definitely knows how to manipulate the situation in her favour 😉👍🏼 ; Moment she learns from Yashodha about Gayatri's past , she is clear in her mind about Sethji's weakness that is his daughter's marriage ... So its quite simple ..She will make Sethji's weakness as her strength .. Scores equal then 😈 ..
And in the process of fixing this marriage deal Rajmata will do a world of good for Gayatri too I guess .. At least Rajmata's proposal is 100 times better than Damyanti's proposal .. 😆 .. In both cases they r doing Gayatri's sauda only .. I mean what different Rajmata is doing from what Gayatri's own mother did ?? Gayatri's own mother too did her daughter's sauda(deal) by planning to give huge dowry to that old guy's family in return of Gayatri's rishta there ..So if Rajmata too does a sauda by planning to give her son's marriage with Gayatri in return of their pending debts which I guess is a fair and much better deal, then whats wrong in it as it will not only secure Gayatri's future in true sense but will also make her official Queen of Amerkot and give her the respect that she deserves , something which she may never get in that old guy Damodar's family ...
I understand Sethji's reasons and fears for refusing this marriage deal despite knowing that Gayatri's future is at stake with that old guy .. I guess first of all Sethji was taken aback with the proposal as he was not expecting something like this and secondly he was not sure if Rajmata is telling him the truth or just trapping him in some lie so that he does not go to English court , I mean what if later Rajmata or her son refuses for this marriage , then what ? ..All these fears and doubts were in Sethji's mind because he knows how Rajmata is Royalty obsessed and so suddenly proposing her son's marriage with a common man's daughter was so unlike Rajmata 😆 ...
But I m sure Sethji will go home and rethink about the whole thing especially what Rajmata told him about Gayatri getting the Respect and Position of a Queen , someting his father always dreamt of .. So mayb just during the engagement , he will stop it and might ask Gayatri to talk to Rajmata about this marriage which we also see in promo 😃... Now that Rajmata even gives Gayatri's written letter to Sethji as proof , so he knows that Gayatri loves Ranaji and so in no way Gayatri will think her father did some marriage deal or sold her since she herself wants to marry Ranaji which I m sure her father will take into consideration while making his final decision on Monday🤔 ..Also in a way its her own mother who is selling her to that old guy 😡 ...If Sethji gives his nod to Rajmata for RaGa marriage , then in no way it will look like Sethji is selling his daughter because in this case its Rajmata who is selling her son for money 😉😆 whereas Sethji will only fulfill what his daughter wants 😃 ..No wonder in precap Ranaji looked pissed off with Rajmata 😆 but well soon he will realise that for once Rajmata made a good choice for him 😳
Today I felt like hugging Rajmata for some reason 😆 .. She is turning out to b perfect match-maker for our RaGa 😆😆 ..I know she has her own selfish reasons to do all this but the way she told Sethji that Gayatri will get the respect of a Queen and also a husband that she desires for , it just felt good to the ears ..isn't it 😆😳 ..I hope Sethji too thinks the same next week😆 .. All this might hv happened suddenly for him and so the refusal in the hit of that moment thinking Rajmata is playing with his weakness , but on second thought I hope he realises that Ranaji is a much better choice than the old guy

Overall I loved the episode because finally things r moving on and the real RaGa track is about to kickstart with this much awaited marriage deal 😎
