A movie that had a poor script which led to a misinterpretation of the entire film. Unfortunate. But everyone acted well. And the songs were beautiful and melodious.

i don't think SRK acted well he was quite irritating others were fine

The absolute worst thing was the characters themselves, namely: Rani + SRK + Amit. No wonder Kajol rejected the role outright based on the same point that I didn't like in Maya's character. You just could not see the logic behind her leaving such a great husband and falling for this cynical, negative, begrudged character played by SRK.

That element was simply not developed by Karan Johar. He took the biggest cinematic liberty there and it didn't pay off.

And the ending. My lord. Did not sympathise with them at all.

Also Preity's slap >>> highlight of the movie.

this movie showed things that actually might happen, well maybe not in such fabulous outftits and locations, but affairs are an everyday occurence. i agree it wasnt a great movie , but it wasnt horrible and it definetely didnt "teach us to love each others spouses". a movie is not supposed to show you how to live your life.

What was the ending? Can't remember...been too long since I tried to watch this movie back in the day.
