she's is of 16 years only, that a surprise definitely. i guess, as the story is based on banaras and that too for the widows for which the banaras is famous of, i was having a thought that the cvs will show a story of a girl of a younger age and after seeing dhaani, i m having a thought that the protagonist will be of 20 years.BUT didn't thought of the actual age of the actress. well, if this is the case , this matches with the character, even a bit = a girl of 16 years playing a role of 20 years.

This is why she talked about actresses playing roles of ppl of older age.😉 Coz she is just 16. And I think PH wanted a newbie for 3 reasons: she doesn't have an image like any other established actress. Also to avoid over acting.😆 And clashes of egos between 2 leads. Coz she'll look at MR with respect.😃

well this happens from ages., the grils r bound to get married at the very younger age , and the ,male don't as they r having the liberty of their life to 1st complete their studies or to do what the men wants even after the completion of their studies, i,e, any job or setting up of business. and then the society have a thought of getting the boy married.the boy always enjoys more options regarding the age of their marriage.so that' is the reason why the girl and boy have a considerable age difference.

the parents of a girl always thought of getting rid of them at the very young age of them as they want to free from all kinds of difficulties or tensions.this is the fact. and i m sure that is is gonna shown in 'IKRS' too.

It is the same in my country too. Arabs also have the same habits.

so the choice of the actor is good. [BEST EST WITH MR😉] i think that MR here will be playing a guy of not less than 23 years.

and yes, MR IS TOO YOUNG TO BE CALLED AN UNCLE,even he's getting younger day by day. the girl can better call him sir.😊
