I'm working late yet again, and just managed to sneak away for a while to catch up on the Episode. It was totally worth the effort!
Yet another layered episode done and dusted..
The Sherni is wounded, and Mr. Sharma has just realised that he's landed in a soup with his Jaan.. Yeh Jaan toh unki jaan leke hi chodegi.. 🤣
Super Sadu.. Bwahhaa.. He is all that, and much more.. How nonchalant and unaffected he pretends to be.. 😆
And then bam! Comes the reply.. Jinke khud ke ghar sheeshe ke hote hain who doosron pe patthar nahi phenka karte..👏
So, Mr. and Ms. Sadu's tiff continues into Day 2. 😆
For a viewer, and a die-hard KaYa shipper, these little moments give us something to hold onto while KKN is plagued by news of the merger.
When Kabir walked out of the editorial meeting without letting Ananya talk, was it because he feared that she would actually fall at his feet and embarrass him? Who knows, his crazy woman can think, and do the unthinkable..
But naah! Their tiff and difference of opinion is their personal issue which needs to be dealt with within the four walls of a room, and shouldn't be made into a spectacle for the public eye. Ananya really needs to understand it, ingrain it into herself..
Else, they're bound to land in embarrassing situations in the future, just like the one with Manav today.
Though Ananya did tackle Manav on her own, while Mr. Sharma watched on curiously - defense won't always work in her favour.. Especially not now when Malvika's mind is being filled with poison and her thoughts are being channelized in an unknown, dangerous terrain by Manav.
Were Manav's words from today a foreboding of the future? Certainly, a yes..
We've always said that Manav wasn't the perfect antagonist to Kabir, but the guy proves time and again that with his shrewd brains, manipulative tongue and carefully picked words, he has always managed to brainwash Malvika, if not the others.
Right now, she is in an extremely vulnerable position, where she is wallowing in anger and jealousy and her resentment of Ananya and KaYa's relationship is triggering a cascade of responses over which she no longer has any control.
We've seen that a woman as smart as her doesn't even consider the repercussions of her actions when she steals the chip containing Ananya's sting operation footage. Even when Kabir is almost humiliated on national television, all she cares about is deriving pleasure from Ananya being insulted by Kabir.
Manav's words from today have hit the bull's eye; and we'd get to see the detrimental effects of Malvika's disdain only when Shreya makes an entry.
At the moment, we're not very sure as to what Shreya's intentions could be.
Either she is here to challenge Kabir's authority and the respect and goodwill he has earned over the years, or she wants him back in her life. As the cheated wife, she will obviously find it difficult to watch Kabir making attempts to move on in life; both professionally and personally.
While I really hope that Shreya stays away from KKN politics, and has her own ways of getting back at Kabir, it somehow seems inevitable after tonight's episode.
Malvika, Manav and Shreya will obviously be the key players in the game, and a formidable team of antagonists against Kabir and Ananya.
If we assume that Shreya's intentions are to challenge Kabir's position of power and knock him off his EIC chair, Manav's words from today make a lot of sense.
Malvika, while nursing her bruised ego, has not been able to swallow Kabir's rejection yet. In her blind resentment of Ananya, she might even go to the extent of siding with the enemy and will pose a threat to Kabir's position at KKN too.. The very Kabir Sharma who saved her father's channel from sinking is nothing more than a pawn to her.. And she will not think twice before destroying him, in an attempt to ruin Ananya's career and life..
Of course, such unwholesome thinking will cost her everything; her channel, her friends and her own sanity in the end.
Ananya perhaps hasn't realised the true reason behind Kabir's public daant' yet. But her good friend, Richa has..
Honestly, I've always been able to relate to Richa's protective instinct towards her friend, and she perhaps is also right when she says she will oppose KaYa's relationship until the very end, coz who would want to give their friend false hopes, when the man in concern is a ruthless, self-centered, womanising Kabir Sharma.
But tonight, she kinda disappointed me too.. Girl, you just do not jump to conclusions based on what meets the eye. You're a reporter, for crying out aloud! That kind of a judgemental attitude would lead you to your doom..
And yep, I echo the fandom's POV on Baby too.. That girl is not what she appears to be. Something is definitely fishy about her. Or maybe we're just overthinking! Let's wait n watch.
Oh boy! Ronnie must be secretly thanking his stars and Kabir for saving him from a demanding' girlfriend.
Bwahaha.. Mr. Sharma is really caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.. And perhaps only, Tarini and Anurag s wise words will force him to look at the entire issue in a different light.
Right and wrong doesn't matter, it's always the guy who has to bow down and apologise.. 😎
Knowing Mr. Sharma and his natural, effortless charming persona, I'm pretty sure he's going to sweep Ananya off her feet with his apology..
Looking forward to some light-hearted romantic KaYa moments before the storm brewing towards them hits the shores..

P. S. I'm still in favour of a child-like, crazy Ananya at the moment. Of course, she'll mature eventually, but right now this is what is needed to keep Kabir on his toes.. 😉
