I think Its Deepika. Not before. But definitely since 2012. She has excelled in different kinds of roles, and has pulled off a Piku and a Lovely and also a Veronica.

I love the fact that she blends art and commerce so beautifully. She would do a Finding Fanny and a Lovely in the same year, and her acting was fnastatic in both.

who said her acting in finding fanny is fantastic???...its bore fest and pathetic movie...her acting is good in piku...

P.S- but I cant see deepu doing saat khoon maaf/ barfi like PC and also I cant see PC doing YJHD effortless like DP did...few actresses are made for some roles..

they have their strengths and weakness

Its not Deepika. She hasn't done horror nor played an antagonist. Just because she is good actress in those roles does not mean she will do well in all.

Deepika has a long way to go as well.
