Today's episode starts with the family discussing to call the police in to investigate the recent events. Paridi voices her opinion against calling them.
A worried Rashi asks Jigar if the police will really come. He jokes and says they will come for her because she is not drinking milk or studying. She finishes her drink and Jigar takes her to her room.
Kokila agrees with Ahem of calling the police.
In Rashis room Jigar helps Rashi with her studying. As she recites her times tables her attention is distracted to the electrician who is explaining minor but important notes to take care of. Jigar picks up Rashi's science book and sees that a number of pages are bookmarked. She takes the book from him and says that she knows science and to help her with English.
Swings are being prepared by the family for the festival.
Ahem and Gopi are missing. They are having their own moment in the bedroom. Vidya arrives to call them down.
At the temple Vidya asks the reason and history behind Teej. Kokila explains to one and all. In the courtyard black gloved hands are seen tampering with the lights on Gopi and Ahem's swing.
Hetal and Chirag lead the family in prayer and one by one the other couples do aarti and then distribute prasad. They wonder where Rashi is and she arrives bounding in with some excuse.
At Chawl Kinjal is getting ready. Along come Urmila to taunt her and tells her that no matter how hard she tries she will not be able to sway Dhawal with her act as he is not the same.
At MM the family is seen in the courtyard. At Hetal's insistence Kokila sits in the swing with Parag by her side. She has a gift of two cinema tickets. Parag tells her that they will go and see the film and then go to dinner at which Molu says to take her to the cinema only as he and his brother will take their girlfriends, Hetal and Kokila to dinner. A card arrives for Kokila. She reads it and is tensed. She also observes Meera with a load of wires and when asked she says that she is tidying up.
Baa gets emotional and waxes lyrical about the past and the future. Chirag and Hetal's turn. Hetal is gifted 'Saraswatichandra' book. Chirag then sings a few lines from the film song.
At Chawl Kinjal is waiting for Dhawal but Urmila tells her to break her fast. Dhawal will be very late. Despite Urmila's taunts Kinjal chooses to wait.
At MM it is Ahem and Gopi's turn. Gopi appears to put her hand on the swing but due to her catching her sari on her sandal she is distracted. Ahem tells her to stop faffing and to sit. As she is sitting Ahem reaches to hold the swing. At the same moment Jigar notices the wire and calls out but is too late. Ahem gets electrocuted.
Pre cap. Ahem falls to the ground, Kokila calls for someone to call the doctor. Ahem becomes unconscious.
