Part 1 ~~ Jeyein Kyun!

Arnav stared at his cell resting on his desk.

"Aapne Lunch kar liya na? Dekhiye agar aapne jhoot bola na, toh aapke ghar aane ke baad hum aapka laptop lenge aur aapki pool mein phek denge , phir aap hume raat bhar what the what the ki loori mat sunaeyega ..."

("You had your lunch? See if you lied then once you are back home, I am going to take your laptop and throw it in your pool, then don't sing your What the What the whole night..." )

Na aaye ho, na aaoge,na phone pe bulaoge

Na shaam ki karaari chai, labon se yun pilaoge

Arnav closed his eyes and leaned back in his chair, his eyes burning with unshed tears. Her chiming voice rang in his head, making his heart ache and throat hurt. He is ready to give all his fortune, just for his cell to ring, and hear her scold him. But even his all fortune isn't enough to give him just that. His money did nothing to keep his small paradise safe.

His eyes jerked opened as his cell rang. He sat straight immediately and picked his phone.

"Aaa... Baaa... Bbb...bbb..Aaa"

He again fell back in his chair , tears spilling out and wetting his cheek.

"How is my baby?" he managed to ask through the lump in his throat. He heard a coherent reply of his girl, making his heart bleed in pain. They were supposed to cherish these beautiful moments together, but...

"Sorry to disturb you Arnav bhaiya, she was missing you. So I thought of calling you ..." he heard HP say, and he disconnected the call, not trusting his voice.

He pushed the door of his Mansion open and entered inside, the ache in his heart growing tenfold, almost strangling him. Pushing back the tears that hit his eyes again, he took the stairs.

"Aa gaye aap? Aap guess kijiye humne aap ke liye kya banaya hai... Kijiye kijiye ... Hume pata hai aap soch bhi nahi sakte , par aap dekh kar khush zaroor honge ... chaliye ...chaliye na..."

("You are back? Guess what I have made for you ...Guess guess ... I know you can't guess, but I know you will love it ...come ..come na..")

He looked down at his empty hand. Her soft hands were not holding his wrist, pulling him to accompany her. He gasped for some air, his eyes burning with tears.

Na aaye ho, na aaoge, na din dhale sataoge

Na raat ki nashili bye se neendh mein jagaoge

"Arnav Bhaiya, I will bring your dinner .." HP stood off the bed.

Arnav shook his head. "No...I am not hungry ... You may leave now .." he dismissed HP and walked towards the bed. Sitting near his six months old daughter, he just stared at her. Her cute innocent face reminding him so much ofher dear face. He tucked a silky strand behind her ear and kissed her forehead. Tucking her properly inside the blanket, he stood off the bed, walking towards the poolside.

He stood there under thousands of twinkling stars. With tears flowing out of his eyes one by one, he just stared at the stars, his heart asking millions of questions. But nothing he heard in reply. Nothing which can sooth his pain, nothing which can end this pain, nothing which could keep him going.

Gaye tum gaye ho kyun, yeh raat baaki hai

har baat baaki hai

Gaye kyun toh jiyein kyun

He walked inside the room , his eyes falling on her side of empty bed, which was empty. Dragging his legs towards the bed, he laid down beside his daughter.

"Aa gaye aap? Aaj itni der kyun ki? Aapko pata hai na hume aap ke bina neend nahi aati "

(You came? Why are you so late? You know na I can't sleep without you ...)

Arnav looked down, searching for her soft fingers curled around his collar, but found nothing. He shut his eyes, the tears burning his eyes.

Na aaye ho, na aaoge, na dooriyaan dhikhaoge

Na thaam ke woh josh mein yun hosh se udaoge

Na aaye ho, na aaoge, na jhoot se sunaoge

Na rooth ke sirhane mein, remote ko chhupaoge

His eyes jerked opened. He looked down at his collar to find tiny fingers curled around his collar. A sudden unbearable pain rose from his chest, choking him. His hands immediately lifted to hold his daughter close to his heart, trying to draw some strength from the little life.

"I miss her, baby ... I miss her so much ... It's not possible to live without her...I can't do this...I can't ... Why...Why she had to go? Why?" His tears flowed down freely, like every night. Like every night, he hopeless prayed the pain to lessen. Like every night, he desperately prayed for her to come back anyhow. Like every night, he begged her Devi Maiya to give her back. But like every night, all he felt was unbearable pain, threatening to suck out his life any second. He crushed the little life close to his heart, crying and begging till he was pulled into oblivion.

Aankh bhi tham gayi, na thaki

Raat bhi na bati, na kati

Raat bhi chherti marrti

Neend bhi lutt gayi, chiin gayi

Raat bhi na sahi, na rahi

Raat bhi laazmi, zaalmi

Hi guys! This is a new ArShi SS. Will consist of 7-8 parts. My ArShi SS, 'Kusi' and FF, 'Junoon' , will be ending soon. So I am posting this new SS. Hope you all like it.
