Scene 1 : Ladhak

"Lt. Aalekh Sharma reporting Sir!"

A man looked up from his desk to welcome the young officer. A thoughtful smile on his face indicating how he was impressed by the young officer's approach.

Man(in a proud voice): "Aahh..so you are Lt. Sharma. I must say I'm impressed by your academic records!"

aalekh looks confused, how does he know of my records? And then looks at the file on his desk Profile : Lt. Aalekh Sharma

" Pehle remand home, phir KMA ke cadet, phir vahi ek orderly aur ab vaha k second best cadet! Interesting..Lekin ye jung hai aalekh, yaha tumhe dubara mauka nahi milega" He pats his shoulder and gives him a reassuring smile that he is welcomed.

Aalekh also smiles at him and says "Apun...main apne desh ko bachane ke liye hamesha tayyar rahta hoon sir.phir chahe vo ek cadet ban kar ho ya ek orderly. Rank se zyada desh important hai."

The man looks at him bemused. "Sun kar acha laga hume..desh ko tumhare jaise siphahiyo ki hi zarurat hai..keep it up!" and turns towards a small shelf to take some file.

Aalekh is standing there wondering why he was called. The man notices this and says "Kya hua lieutenant? Yahi soch rahe hai na ki aapko yaha humne sirf baate karne toh nahi bulaya hai? "

Aalekh simply nods.

Man: "Well, I am Major General Gaur. Aur yaha aapko isliye bulaya gya hai ki ****." He tells aalekh about his mission and the thrill is quite visible on his face.

Aalekh returns to his tent and thinks about everything that MGG has told him. He was interrupted by an orderly who informs him that he has a call. Aalekh wonders who is calling him? He didn't expect any calls here..and leaves to receive the call.

Aalekh : Hello

Otherside : Hello...tu theek se pahunch gaya na? kaisa hai? Everything alright?

Aalekh : haan naina..apun theek hai..tu bta pahuch gyi theek se? koi pareshani hai kya? Achanak...maine socha nahi tha ki tu phone karegi..aur tujhe yaha ka number?

Naina : arrey bas baba...theek se pahunch gayi hoon aur...koi pareshani nahi hai. Aur rahi baat yaha k number ki toh..i hope teri baat MGG se ho gyi hogi..aur Headquarters me tu mujhse contact me rahega

Aalekh : kya? Tu ? naina apun ko smjha nahi..tu iss sab me kaise?

Naina : dekh aalekh..ye toh mujhe bhi nahi samjha ki itna risky mission aur hum jaise new officers ko kyu diya gaya hai..par ab hume apni duty ache se karni hogi..(pause) rajveer sir k naam ko hum kharab nahi hone de sakte

Aalekh : haan naina..apun capt sir ko, unke naam ko kabhi kharab nahi hone denge. Tu apna dhyan rakhna.

Naina: tub hi..

Call ends.

Both are happy to be working on the same mission and confused too, their moist eyes clearly telling how they are missing their rajveer sir and yet determined to do everything for their mentor.

Scene 2 : Delhi Headquarters

"lt. Naina Singh reporting sir!"

Man : ohh come in lt. have a seat

Naina : sir, kya baat hai? I mean..woh..

Man : you mean ki maine aapko off-duty hours pe kyu bulaya hai..yahi na? haha

Naina (feeling a little embarrased) : yes sir...I mean no..actually..mera matlab..

Man (laughing): relax naina...(naina who was looking down in embarrassment looks up at being called by her first name) I hope mai aapko off-duty' hours me naina bula sakta hoon?

Naina smiles at this and nods approvingly

Man : toh naina, coming to the point, i want to know all the details about Lala Gehlot, you know aise kafi cheese hain jo hum jaante hai ki official records me nahi hai...aur kyuki aap is case me involved thi, main chahta hoon aap vo saari details mujhe btae

Naina is silent as she is trying to measure the pros n cons of this situation...how can she trust someone with all the details whom she met just a few days ago..

Man : ohh come on naina, tum Major' Mittal par na sahi, but naveen ke mentor caption' mittal par toh vishwas kar hi sakti ho

Naina : what? Aap bhaiya k mentor the??

MM: ji haan...main hi naveen ka mentor tha...aur mujhe garv hai ki mujhe uske jaise protge ka mentor hone ka mauka mila...(MM has tears in his eyes, while remembering naveen)

Naina sees this and thinks its not the right time to discuss about naveen, so she tries to bring MM back to the point

Naina : Sir, aap Lala ke bare kya jaana chahte hai? I mean..is it related to our mission?

MM: haan naina, it is related to our mission. Jaanti ho lala jail toh jaa chukka hai but uska network abhi bhi active hai...lala ne bade chalaki se is network ko chupa rakha tha but kyuki ab vo actively involved nahi hai isliye hume kaee leads mile hai jo hume uske illegal activities ko saamne lane me madad karenge

Naina : but sir lala jail se is network ko kaise operate kar sakta hai?

MM: ohh c'mon naina, lala jaise powerful insaan k liye ye koi badi baat nahi hai...aur mujhe dar hai ki lala ko jail se bahar nikalne me bhi der nahi lagegi...vo kafi influential hai you see..

Naina : right sir..(in her mind) iska matlab humare pass waqt bahout kam hai...aur kaam bht mushkil...(pause)

Sir mai lalaji se pehli baar KMA mili thi..vo vaha capt rajveer se milne aaye the...usi waqt jb col.chandra redbox lekar KMA se jaa rhe the...(and naina describes everything to him, how lala met her, shouted at her for behaving rudely with his son rajveer, how rajveer respected lala, how lala kidnapped sameera, and how they rescued her )

MM is shocked hearing all this. He could not believe that lala killed rajveer inspite of the fact that he was so close to lala.

But he is also confused about something else...this story does not sound quite right to him.

He knows naina is honest, but this story...

Sighing, he says naina ye sach adhoora hai...ye ek bahout bade khel ka ek chotta sa hissa hai..

And suddenly he notices that its quite late and tells naina to leave.

Naina understands that its quite a big shock for him and leaves quietly.

MM puts his head in his hands and thinks of all information naina gave.

Navin's voiceover: meri behan aaj mere mentor k sath baith kar aaj raj aur meri zindagi ko ek case k roop me dekh rahi thi...apne emotions ko door rakh kar sirf sachai ko dekh rahi thi, par mere mentor ki baato ne naina k mann me kaee sawaal khade kar diye the... aise sawaal jo na kabhi usne soche na samjhe...
