She sat with the negative results, and a lump in her throat. A lump of immense joy, and an unexplainable relief. She could feel the warm hands of her patient on her shoulder. A drop trickled down her eyes. " It had to be all good. Cuz it's ur day. Happy doctor's day...Mom!"...her patient's soft words hit her ears.

Every time he fell upon her, she got an immense pleasure. A joy rippled through her skin as he kissed her passionately, throughout. But she knew, he was still not hers. A casanova with multiple lovers, he was bound still only to one. The Sky. And he, the rain.

He waited for her gift every Eid. And she waited for his every Diwali. The sweet little gift shared every bit of their festivals, sending vastness of joy to each others heart. A Red Rose.

"How will you live ,if I die early? ", she had asked. " I won't!", his instant answer.
The mob was too busy unloading their lifeless bodies from the crashed car, to notice the last soft smile on their faces, a smile of togetherness till eternity.

"You'll catch cold!", he seemed really concerned as she danced in the rain. " I won't. I love the rain, and someone you love truly will always love you back., can never think of hurting you!"
A sigh escaped his heart as he kept watching her. If only this applied to him.

A red bag, and a red rose...were all that she wanted.

She would paint her new world, herself!
