Moments of happiness
Part 1
It was the wedding day of Krish and Devarsh and everyone in the RV mansion was getting ready. Ishani was about to go to her to room to get ready when she saw Ritika talk with Ranveer in one of the other's room.
"Let me get closer, so I can hear what this witch is telling my husband" Ishani said silently and found a perfect spot to earsdrop.
" Ranveer , I don't think I should go to the wedding " Ritika told Ranveer , and faked tears and Ishani just wanted to go and slap here .
" Yeh mere Ranveer ke bole phan phe faida otari hai " Ishani thought furiously.
" But Ritika , Shikhar 's sister are getting married and it is important that you are there . You are one of Shikhar 's closest friends " Ishani heard Ranveer say , and saw that Ritika nodded and then she saw that Ritika looked where Ishani was standing and Ishani hided herself as fast as she could.
" Hope that witch did not see me "
" Ranveer , you did not want this wedding to happen " Ritika said , making plans for how to keep Ranveer and Ishani far from each other .
" Well what I want or don 't want does not matter , what is written in destiny only that will happen" Ranveer said , before he added : " I have no right to interfere in their life " Ranveer said calmly .
" Not even to save Krish? " Ritika asked and Ishani and Ritika both waited eagerly on Ranveer 's ansver.
" If she ever need my help I will without second thinking help her , but I can 't ruin this wedding after all what about her parents . Because of me the marriage of their son was broken , if I broke their daughter's wedding what will I be ? "
" The man who are reason for their pain " Ranveer said tiredly
" Then what will happen ?" Ritika asked Ranveer and he answered :
" I am not a God , who know what will happened or what is the best for others "
"You and I both know the true about Devarsh reason for this marriage, then why should I be the one who should stop the wedding and why not you ? " Ranveer said and saw that Ritika was shocked with his answer.
" It's easy to talk and judge when you are from the outside , but when you are in that situation suddenly it is not that easy anymore " Ranveer said and went towards the room and Ishani hided herself so Ranveer won't see her.
After she saw that Ranveer has entered their room , she started walking towards it as well. When she came in the room, she saw Ranveer lost in thoughts . She knew that he was battling with himself to what to do.
"You should leave it on destiny " Ishani said sweetly .
"But I would wanted someone to help me if they knew that intention of the person I am going to marry is wrong "Ranveer admitted and Ishani "That 's what I did , I saved you from that wicked witch " Ishani thought for herself.
" But Krish and her family won't believe you " Ishani said , before she added :
" You and I have interfered in Disha and Gauri 's life and the result was not good " Ishani said calmly, and could clearly see the guilt in Ranveer 's life.
" Our intention were good Ranveer , but at the end what is meant to happened will happens " Ishani said and interlocked her hands with Ranveer , she hated him seeing guilty for other people's mistake.
" You are a really good man , Ranveer . Not many think this much of others , like you do Ranveer " Ishani thought , Ranveer slowly took his hand away from hers and said slowly :
" You should go and get ready " Ranveer told her , trying to avoid looking at her and thinking why her touch still gave him peace in his heart .
" You came in the room first , you can go and change " Ishani offered him and Ranveer shacked his head and said :
" Ladies first " Ranveer said without thinking , and the memories of the last time he had said flashed right in front of their eyes and both got emotional of thinking about that day .
" Ranveer I... " but Ranveer interrupted Ishani by saying :
" You are right I should change first , because you will use a century to get ready so I will go and change first " and Ranveer ran from there to the bathroom . After he had closed the door behind him , he washed his face and thought :
" Why did I say that ?"
" Ishani " Ranveer said impatiently , and thought why women's always took so long time to get ready .
" Yes " Ishani said silently , trying to hide the pain but Ranveer heard it right away.
" What happened Ishani ? " Ranveer asked worriedly and hurried towards the bathroom door , when he tried to open the door it was locked.
" Kuch nahi , Ranveer you just go I will come later " Ishani answered .
" I am not going anywhere without you " Ranveer said determined and Ishani at the other side of the door had tears in her eyes not because of the pain but because of his care .
" Ishani either you tell me what 's wrong or I will come in and check for myself " Ranveer warned Ishani and she silently opened the door , and hided her scars with the help of the close.
Ranveer could clearly see the pain written in Ishani 's face and her eyes were completely red due to crying . Ranveer 's heart broke seeing her like this , and the thing that hurt the worst was that Ishani had made sure that she did not cry out loudly or for that matter of fact Ishani had not made any voice .
" What is wrong'? " Ranveer asked gently and Ishani turned around and said :
" I can't fix the back part of saree , without it hurting " Ishani said silently , tears running down from her face.
" But why would it hurt ?" Ranveer asked confused and Ishani 's eyes widened when she thought of what she had admitted .
" Emm nothing " Ishani lied , and Ranveer turned her around gently making sure to not hurt her , he could see that Ishani was trying to hide her stomach with close she was wearing previously .
He gently took the clothes from her , and Ishani looked at Ranveer when he gasped when he saw the scars Ritika has given her .
" Ishani , how did this happen ?" Ishani saw that Ranveer 's eyes were red as hers and she could also hear the pain in his voice, she remembered him saying to her :
" Takleef wo tumhe daithe the , leikin takleef mujhe hoti thi "
" They gave pain to you , but it hurt and pains me "
"This is nothing Ranveer, don't worry "Ishani tried to console him , but all she got was two bewildered eyes looking at her .
"How can I not worry, Ishani? And please don't say this is nothing "Ranveer said and Ishani turned her eyes on the wall, she could not bear the pain she saw on his face. Suddenly the pain she has felt before was nothing in front of the pain she was feeling after seeing her love like that.
Ranveer took some medicine from one of the shelf and started cleaning her wound slowly not to hurt her more, Ishani closed her eyes and her grip on Ranveer 's Kurta tighter. After that he opened the shower to wash away the blood.
"It's okay to scream, I won't judge "Ranveer whispered kindly in her ears and Ishani smiled and said :
" If I scream then it will hurt you more " and Ranveer was shocked that how could she think about his pain before hers. Ishani knew what Ranveer was thinking so she said :
" This scar hurt you more than it hurt me , just like this scar does not matter for me all that matter is the scar you are getting by seeing this " she admitted and both got lost in each other's eyes . It was like time had stopped, and it was only them.
"Babhi and bhaiya hurry up " they hear Parul 's voice who were standing with Ritika outside the room.
" We are coming Parul , you guys go we will catch up with you " she heard Ranveer say , and Parul could not hide the smirk that appeared on her face.
" Okey , bhaiya " Parul responded and left from there , but Ritika was furious and went inside the room but found no one .
She saw the bathroom door closed and heard that the shower was on. Ritika went out from there, jealous as hell.
After Ranveer had taken care of her wound, he asked her to turn around. Closing his eyes , he helped her with her saree.
Ishani turned around her eyes and saw that Ranveer still had his eyes closed; she could swear that the moments between them today had made her fall in love with him all over again.
"You can open your eyes now "Ishani said sweetly, and Ranveer silently opened his eyes and saw that Ishani was smilingly looking at him , but he could also see that her check was reed due to her blushing.
"Why are you blushing?" Ranveer asked her confused, and Ishani turned more crimson red and walked out of the bathroom door and said :
" You women's are so confusing , yaar " and started walking from the room , Ishani giggled and said :
" Wait on me" Ishani said and also stepped out from the bathroom , and she saw that Ranveer turned around looking , giving himself the permission to take the sight of her beauty .
"That's what I have been doing as long as I can remember "Ranveer answered and Ishani looked at him stunned.
At the wedding
" Is there any married couple who are fasting ? " The panditt asked , and Ranveer and Ishani was the only one who answered yes. Then panditt ji ask them to come , when both of them sitt down and the priest notice that Ishani is not wearing sindoor and mangal sutra .
He looked at the couple who were in a eyelock , he could clearly see the love between the both of them.
" Betha ?" said panditt ji and Ranveer and Ishani got out of their eyelock and both turned crimson red.
" Ji " Ishani answered silenty
" Why are you not wearing mangalsutra and your sindoor ?" asked the panditt ji and Ishani looked embarresed and said :
" Wo main.. " But Ranveer inteferred , and could hear people say many unrespectfull things to Ishani.
" Actually panditt ji , this is my fault . I was the one who fussed over her being late , so because of me she stressed and forgot " Ranveer said , and Ishani looked at him surprised by his words.
" Betha , you are her husband and always make sure that she wears her mangalsutra and sindoor " said panditt ji kindly and Ranveer nodded .
" Well , since you are already sitting her why don't you both remarry each other and this way she can wear sindoor and mangalsutra.
Both of them locked at him shocked and said: " Did I say something wrong "
" No" both whispered in union , and then the panditt said :
" Then let 's start the wedding rituals "
