Just watched the film. I think Emraan brings out the best in Mohit Suri.

There was Awarapan, i still remember crying buckets, and now HAK, and this was heartbreaking.

The best thing about this film was Emraan and his character Aarav, rarely we get to see such honest and perfect protagonists with so much grace and conviction onscreen He carried the role so brilliantly, and a part of your breaks during the climax.

Vidya was effortless too, but this story and the ever lasting impact relies on Aarav and this makes me curse Mohit Suri, why did he do that ?

This film might have failed, but is so much better than Ek Villain.

I can't help but feel Hamari Adhuri Kahani is very underrated! The beauty of the script, the flawless acting carried out especially by Emraan, like wow.. and just the simplicity and beauty of how everything was narrated.. a perfect albeit adhoori love story😳

I'm really upset that it failed, It was wonderful. Definitely changed my view on Emraan, although always knew he was a great actor😆

I was awestruck .. The reviews are such useless ones as they do not even give an idea about how soulful the film and poignant Aarav is.
Awarapan till date happened to be my fav of Emraan but now it will be HAK ..
I hope mohit and Emraan keeps working together at least once every 2-3 years, they bring out the best in each other..
Vidya and Emraan seriously needs to be castes again.
There was a point in the film when I wanted to force Vasudha kick her husband and go to Aarav, there wasn't any need to fight for that useless soul

you might find cliches but the film is very soulful.. You either like a Mohit suru film or you don't.. The pluses are that Emran is back in the selfless lover boy image and the chemistry he shares with Vidya..
