Ramesh, the name itself means Preserver. Ramesh Gangwal has been the preserver of his family, which no one has ever realised. His support, his silence, everything plays a role in keeping the family together. He is always ready to go to any lengths to help out his family members. He truly is the reason the family is still ONE family.

Vivek Mushran started his career in 1991 with the blockbuster Hindi movie Saudagar and has appeared in many other movies including Ram Jaane, Aisi bhi kya jaldi hai, First Love Letter and Anjaane.

He has also acted in Star Plus TV sitcom Son Pari, Zee TV serial Kitty party and was also seen in Sony TV shows Bhaskar Bharati, Baat Hamari Pakki Hai and Parvarish. He was also a part of the Doordarshan TV Serial Ae Dil E Nadaan. He has sung songs in his album Kahin Kho Gaya.

Vivek is known for his versatile acting, which is very evident in his portrayal of Ramesh. It is through his acting that audience is able to connect so well with Ramesh. He brings out the emotions excellently well through his expressions alone, no words needed. There have been many scenes in the show where his expressions conveyed everything and it has been a delight.
