Guys

This girl Poonam is just a average singer and she is getting sympathy votes and it is very sad to see. Why does she need to say everytime she comes from poor family or why does this man ismail durbar keep on repeating about her mother . It is getting boring now. Ok Agreed she has come up the hard way so what there are millions like her who are poor does it mean she should get votes for being poor?

Is this a singing competition or a show where one is suppoed to vote for poorest contestant? LET US VOTE POONAM OUT.

I know how you feel, ID cannot keep his mouth shut, he brings it up all the time. I think people already know this, not the first time they have heard, but she is a very good singer, and she deserves to be where she is. She has her fan base, and I believe may progress to te next round.
Same thing happened in Lil Champs. Diwakar got a lot of sympathy votes because he was blind.

I disagree with the part that Poonam is not a good singer,

She is a rocking and versatile singer, any one who has seen her vande mataram, quawali , ni samajh gayi renderings cannot say that she is an average singer. She is just outstanding.

Poonam is not just getting votes because of her personal situation, she really is a talented singer with a really powerful voice, in fact the most powerful voice of the lot. As a member of the public myself, if I would vote for Poonam, it's not becasue I feel sorry for her, it's becasue she has a great voice, as sings consistantly well. 👏

Poonam does not bring it up.I think Himesh harps on it more than ID. Have you heard her sing hamesha tumko chaha. asha bhosale has said that poonam will become a playback singer. there has to be something special in her. show me one other singer who got that compliment.

Poonam is a great singer, she is able to sing all those high notes. She deserves to be at least in the top 5. ID does play on her poor background, but she still deserves it no matter how much sympathy others have for her.

My opinion: Poonam is one of the best singers in the industry not just this contest. As mentioned earlier she has a powerful voice which is very rare gift. Her circumstances are different - but that shouldn't have any bearing on my vote. In fact I strongly feel (no offence to any) the top two should be 'Aneek' and 'Poonam'.
Whether that will happen or not I wouldn't know.
