They finally reached the venue
Sanyukta was about to enter through the huge gate but Randhir stopped her

V-1st year ke bacche??' vidhushi twisted her nose looking at her friends
"ek hi jagha khade hoke baate-shaate bahut ho gayi...abh yaha hoga ek couple dance competition" he shouted earning a loud hoot from the audience... Ha toh ji rules sunn lo...Ek bowl mai hai jodiyon (couples) ke naam...aur dusre mai hai songs...Hum yaha per ek chit couple bowl se nikalenge...aur jiska naam aayge...voh couple iss song bowl mai se ek chit nikalega...aur usper dance karge!!!! Sajhe bacche log???'
The students downstage...shouted a big "YES" all excited for the competition
A-Mazaa ayeega...'she beamed at Parth...while he nodded smiling
S-mujhe dance nahi aata' she lied eyeing Randhir...she was clearly not in a mood to dance
Sa-Koi nahi Riya...Randhir bahut accha dance kerta hai...so he will help u' he winked while Randhir raised the collars of his shirt giving a Im-so-great look...n all broke in fits of laughter
"Abh hum first chit pick kerte hai" the guy choosed a chit from the bowl n opened it
"Ha toh yeh hai...Ekta aur Raj" all clapped while the couple...came on the stage n did their dance
After 3 more performances... The guy announced "Parth and Arpita'
Papita looked at eachother with a shy smile...while the whole gang shouted for them
Sanyu side hugged Arpi before she went to stage with her partner
As the night grew old...may more couples danced on stage earning loud applause from the audience
N finally (the most awaited moment 😆 ) the guy called "Randhir n Riya"
They both smiled the rushed to the stage
R-Riya...pick up a chit'
Sanyu picked a chit...they showed it to the host n went back stage
The lights went dim...n music started
I met a boy and his name is Anjaana
Sanyu enterd the stage lipsing the words...moving with the tune
Anjaani raahon mein ek humsafar mili
Randhir too entered dancing n stood next to her
I met a girl and her name is Anjaani Anjaana
He pointed at Sanyu... keeping his finger on his horhead n twisting it...showing the mad gestur' n showed his tongue

She opened her arms...smiling wide

He brought her down

He pinched her nose
Hain khushi aur tu
She giggled

he brushed his nose with hers

She shuddered at the proximity
Phir kahaan Na jaane kab aisi ratein hoongi
He swirled her again
Ab jo hum, sang hain
He held her hand tight

He picked her
Ab toh fikar naa ho
N swriled round with her in his arms
Gham ka zikar naa ho
He made stand on her feet n nodded softly in no'
Chal yuhi chalte hain
They walked dancing n came at front of the stage
Khatm safar naa ho
They swayed on the song...lisping the lyrics
Lagne lagaa hain kismat ne hi sunli ho Khwaahishein ankaheee
They raised their hand...n entwined their fingers
Anjaana-aa-aa Anjaani-ee-ee
They swayed
Mil gaye-eh-eh toh banee-ee-ee kahaani-ee-ee
He swriled her again
Anjaanas say yeah yeah yeah
She left his hand n went forward...n raised her hands...gesturing all the guys to shout to
All the Anjaanis say yeah yeah yeah
Randhir gave her a look n gestured all the girls to shout
All the Anjaanas All the Anjaanis come on everybody say yeah yeah
Randhir n Sanyu jumped n gestured everyone to join
All the Anjaanas say yeah yeah yeah
The guys shouted

Everyone present in the hall hooted while sandhir swayed with eachother

they swayed with perfect snyc...the song ended...n a loud applaud n hooting sound filled the hall...while Sandhir stood their in eachothers' arms gazing in eachother
