DDD has some solid performances, but as a film Znmd is far ahead in my opinion. In DDD there are scenes which i found to be totally useless. The climax isnt fully realised, and the songs are just stuck in here and there.

Znmd had a way of telling the story in a very artistic manner. Just the way the screenplay unfolds, and how we get glimpses into each of the character's past. Also the songs flowed beautifully with the narrative.

Aamir Khan was the narrator in the form of Pluto Mehra, a dog essentially observing the many strange things us humans do...so the narration was in fact quite important I believe.

It was important to explain the grand message the film brought forward through small nuances... Common janta of India simply would not understand the deep underlying message of the film otherwise. It was different but I think it helped the film.

I found the trailors good...and some jokes hilarious..."shefali asking why anil kapoor is still acting, no one is looking now"
Zoya is very much your everday contemporary Yuppie types...it comes out in her movies😆

Having enjoyed watching both, for me it was definitely ZNMD. It had that "real" feeling to it which DDD simply lacked. ZNMD also had more fun moments.

Both films are super pretentious n over rated with half baked story lines. IMO Zoya's best work was Luck by Chance tho it's quite under rated.
But her brother is a much better director whose DCH still manages to surpass most BW movies.
