A guru in Indian society is often equated with the almighty and one's parents. In ancient India, a guru was even considered bigger than both. Many disciples have sacrificed their lives at the wish of a guru.

In the 21st century, gurus have been replaced by teachers and gone are the days of gurudakshina. While Indians still respect their teachers, there always is one who leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

On Teacher's Day, Mayur Lookhar spoke to few actors and discovered despite having a bad experience with a particular teacher, they still love him/her.

Prachi Desai -

My worst teacher: I did my schooling from St. Joseph convent school, Panchagini. I wouldn't name her. For some reasons, she never liked me. In my years of school, she happened to teach me history and English. She was also my sports teacher.

Embarrassing incident: When she was my sports teacher, she hit me with a hockey stick and also slapped me. I was never a studious girl, so she always discouraged me. I had my history exams next day and the previous night, I was studying till the eleventh hour. I continued mugging up in my class and just because I was standing and reading, she started shouting and abused me.

My defence: I never had the guts to face her.

My message: Despite those embarrassing experiences, I will never stop liking you.
