Chapter 2

As I opened my eyes, I found Abhay straight looking at me with a worried, tearful eyes. My heart cringed at the thought of Abhay crying. I got up as he helped me & rested my head against the headboard. He handled me a glass of water which I sipped obediently. "I am sorry Abhay. I didn't meant to hurt u and -" I was interrupted when Abhay raised a finger to place it on my lips. "Shh...u don't need to give me any explanation." He said playing a small smile on his lips. It was pleasant & I too smiled back at him. He got up and walked towards the giant half opened glass window. "But that woman needs to give me some answers. How could she just called u & have conversations about me without thinking our marital life!" I cringed but decided to handle the situation with ease. "But she didn't said anything dreadful which can be proved to be doomed for our marriage." I said defending his mother & my mother-in-law. He glared me for a moment than shifted his gaze to the beautiful sun set. His hues illuminating the serene shine of dusk.
