One can take up lots of projects for quick bucks or for fame

Obviously, working on three TV shows has taken its toll on Achint Kaur who stars in Viruddh, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Karam Apna Apna. The overworked and stressed out star felt giddy on the sets recently. She is suffering from low blood pressure and is believed to be unwell most of the time these days.
Achint, however, insists that she's trying to get the situation in control. She says, It depends on the kind of work one is doing.

One can take up lots of projects for quick bucks or for fame. Money rules in this situation. Work pressure is tremendous here, but it comes in phases. When a project starts it definitely gets hectic but after that it balances out. Actors get overworked because they do loads of shows, which is a personal choice. I am conscious and try to even out my work.

Ronit Roy might be rehearsing for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 scrupulously, but it has taken a toll on his knee which was already in a bad shape. Ronit had ruptured a leg muscle a year back due to which he has to now take extra care while performing stunts or while dancing. The actor begins his day around 5.30 a.m., hits the rehearsal hall at 7 a.m. and continues till 10.30 am. Next, he's at the gym for a while and heads for the shoot around lunch time, which continues till late in the night.

When contacted Ronit said, I'm learning various dance styles. I am discovering muscles in my body that I never knew existed! I keep getting backaches and body ache all the time.
Adds Ronit, My choreographer is aware that I cannot bend it completely. I'm not supposed to put any extra pressure on my knees. When I get back home after a hard day's work my knee really aches and I get cramps. I have begun physiotherapy and I am in thermal wraps all the time or else I cannot function. When the pain gets really bad I apply ice packs or go in for heat treatment.

Playing the lead actress in a show is a huge headache, at least Divyanka Tripathi is learning it the hard way. Playing the title role of Vidya in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, she's having a tough time coping with the pressure.

Divyanka took two days off from work to visit her hometown Bhopal for Raksha-bandhan. Little did she realise that she would need to work overtime when she returned. So, after shooting for 24 hours, the actress is now running a high temperature. An exhausted Divyanka says, As I am the lead actress, I have to be in every frame.

So, I am shooting practically 24x7. For the past two days, I have been suffering from blurred vision and there's this constant headache. I was about to collapse when unit members called a doctor who informed me that I had high fever and low blood pressure. It's a huge pressure to work as a lead actress on a daily soap, but there's no way out.

Romit Raj has been shooting for a rain sequence continuously for many days. And that resulted in the actor running a high temperature, and almost collapsing on the sets. He pops pills to remain on his feet. Romit currently acts in Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann and Maayka Saath Zindagi Bhar Ka.

Says Romit, We are not machines. A human body needs rest from work. I meditate and work out for one hour every day, which gives me peace. This gives me the energy to work 16 hours a day. There are times when the sequences are killing and actors are bound to fall sick. It's the price one has to pay to be an actor, but then I chose to be an actor. If I am sick and am shooting I feel wanted and it gives me a kick. People might think I am crazy, but this is true.
