Salman Khan's latest prison sentence has had quite an emotionally draining effect on his dad Salim Khan. The famous script writer decided to pen down his thoughts on his son's life while the actor was in prison. In a letter he wrote to Salman he advised him about his life and asked him to settle down.
A source close to the actor acknowledged the news to us and said that it was a heartfelt letter written by a father to a son. "Salim uncle told Salman that he needs to mend his ways. He wrote about how Salman is not being fair to himself by constantly landing into trouble. He also shed light on bhai's past relationships and his current one with Katrina."
The source says that Salim Khan is very fond of Katrina and feels that she is a great influence on the star. "Salim uncle asked Salman to settle down and get married. He told him that he hopes to see his grandsons and was hoping Salmanbhai would grant him his request."
"Bhai is very close to his father. He takes everything that Salim uncle tells him very seriously. And till date he is probably the only person that Salman bhai gets told off by if the need arises," he adds.
The source adds that the buzz in Salman's inner circle suggests that things have definitely taken a turn for the better since the actor's release. The star hasn't gone back to shooting immediately and is really giving a thought to how his life is heading.
