Watch: Saqib Saleem stands out in short film 'Green Batti'

Mumbai: Saqib Saleem who has always associate himself with meaningful projects that can make a difference to society has featured in a beautiful short film 'Green Batti'. The film has been directed by Varun Lalwani, who was the chief assistant director to Farah Khan for 'Happy New Year'.

The film has been produced by Shaza Morani, who has chosen a strong compassionate theme to launch her film production company Samaaj Scope. The Green Batti Project is one of India's largest NGOs to promote mentoring programmes for children from under-resourced communities.

Though Saqib makes a short appearance, it is an impactful one. The short film which has gone viral has Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra lauding their effort.

Such a brilliant effort and kudos to all of them who take time out to make a difference. Loved it.

Saqib was great, though the role was a short one.

He is one of my favorites. One of the few in the new generation who knows how to act.

Saqib Saleem is such a talent. Really wish he he gets more recognition and appreciation.

Such a wonderful effort. Short movies with such simple budgets can turn out to be million times more impactful than all the high-budgeted movies.
