Sooo I finally watched the episode and I was happily surprised because I haven't watched YHM for 2 weeks now and it felt like I didn't even miss a beat getting in sync with Raman and Ishita. This is also problematic because it clearly indicates that I have given up on the story, logic, subtlety and character growth in this show.

OMG puttar was so cute when he looked at his Madrasan, merit toh death hi gayi witnessing the cuteness! The look of serenity and calm that took over his face on a mere sight of his Madrasan, and his eyes spoke volumes seeing her walk on her feet.

When I witnessed a husband longing for his wife, to take her in his embrace, I thought of this Gulzar song, Who Shaam kuch ajeeb thi. The way Raman was looking at Ishita, knowing with surety that every move of hers was in his remembrance, her shying gaze away from his family, her walking in the bedroom hugging the pillow, thinking of him at the dinner table.

Aani & Gan...I'll tell you what it says about "us"...we are the modern-aged TRP aunties. We know we deserve better...much better, which is why we complain, but we also appreciate raw talent which is the main thing this show offers. The entire cast makes the show semi-tolerable & does their best to keep the original characters/feel alive despite the TRP-driven script & storyline. 😆

Aani thank you .. And you've put into words what most of us feel. If we introspect to figure out what about YHm is so mesmerizing.. That is the only feasible answer.. As yes the story was different to begin with but that changed long back... They have butchered Raman and Ishita's characters too... We complain all the time about the lack of almost 'everything' about the show .. But still stick to it... Only because of Raman and Ishita.. Like you said .. They make sense everytime they share a frame even when no dialogs are exchanged ... And that we owe it to the actors.. As they never once have faltered to deliver in even most ridiculous scenarios...and somehow wields a magic with their joint presence onscreen that makes us forget the rest of the crap.

And like @bold I also wonder about 'us' .. 😆
