Bhaiya Mere... Sumeet Sachdev

Rakhi is not a mere 'thread' sisters tie on the wrists of brothers but it symbolises a sacred bond between the two. A bandhan which establishes love and affection between the siblings with the noblest of human emotions.

For a brother, a sister can be his closest friend, the one he loves, and vice versa. With the D day round the corner, we asked some of our telly actors about their childhood memories, plans for the day and what they wish to gift their beloved sisters.

Rakshabandhan to me: A day just for brothers and sisters.

Childhood memories: My dad used to take all of us (my cousins) for a picnic.

D-Day plans: Nothing much as my sister is in New Delhi. Either she will visit me in Mumbai or else I'll take out time from my busy schedule to visit her in Delhi.

Special gift for her: Nothing as she's not fond of gifts. I'll take her out for shopping and let her buy whatever she wants.
