Sudha's hopes are shattered once again when she loses the contract with the reputed music company because of Shivam. Raj's mom and Sudha go to the kulguru for blessings, when he tells them that he forsees that Raj and Sudha will not get married and also that Raj will be in grave danger. This disturbing prediction shocks Sudha and Raj's mom. The kulguru tells them that the danger could be avoided if a havan is conducted, and that Raj's to-be bride must be present at the havan. During the fashion show rehearsals, Nalini insults Raj, on Rhea's orders and fires him, and Rhea comes in to give her support to Raj, thus succeeding in her mission to get Raj closer to her. raj leaves the rehersals with Rhea, leaving a devastated Sudha behind. Sudha and Raj's mom confess to dad about the havan and that they need Rs.21,000 for it. Raj hears this and blows up at them, saying that he doesn't believe in havans. Later Raj meets Rhea who takes him to her place. Raj's mom leaves to get the havan started with the pandits, and Raj's dad and Sudha go to the bank to get money for it. On their way to the havan, Sudha and Raj's dad are attacked by thieves, who try to grab the bag of money from them. Sudha tries to fight them, but she is shoved to the ground. Raj's dad tries his best to fight back, but the thieves stab him and run away with the money. Sudha gets help and takes his to the hospital. Raj hears abt the attack on his father and rushes to the hospital and scolds Sudha for doing the havan inspiteof him telling them not to do it. Rhea pays the hospital bills. Raj's parents feel awkward abt that and Sudha feels that she has to find a job and support Raj's family until Raj settles down with a good job. She comes across a newpaper ad looking for a tuition teacher. She goes to that place to see if she can get that job. But she finds 3 kids who scre her and make her not want the job.. and then she meets the mama of the kids.. Mr. Rehaan Kapoor.
