You Left Me And I Am Lost
You were standing there among the crowd. I saw you greet and meet them with a hearty laughter. I stood just there , next to you, in the crowd, alienated, all alone. You saw me and the unshed tears in my eyes...
It rained the next moment and i stood there with sudden burst of joy in me. You went away with the crowd to take shelter, but i stood there yet again alienated and alone as i was with you. My tears broke the barriers and were pouring down my face.
I saw you there staring at me with indifference. Was i so bad that you left me , all alone to fight this cruel world? Had i been so ungrateful to you for all the help you gave me and the times we spent together, that you thought i was unworthy of your time and care anymore?
I stood with you through thicks and thins , sadness and happiness and so did you . But you left me just like that , without a qualm or need to give me a reason for why you left...
I looked at you , into you deep eyes, flooded with an emotion i could not decipher, an emotion i had shut myself from. All the moments spent , now lost in time like the tears in rain. You told me once that my smile shines like the sun but never knew that my tears fell like the rain.
You left me and i am lost, no idea where to go now , i have lost my way. You left me and i have nothing to live for.. Its like a human being snatched off its only source of life, oxygen. Without you i am like the sun without its shine, the stars without its twinkle and the rainbow without its colors.
I see you one last time and walk away , all drenched in the still going downpour. I like walking in the rain as no one can see my tears.
I pray and wish , you come from behind , hold my hand and stop me from going further, but you never came ..
Look, i am still here where we first met , waiting for you to come back , and to start life afresh...
