Tbh, I am not watching this track at all, so i am not really aware of what is happening in the show. Although I did watch one episode where they go to temple to look for baby's parents and promptly decided not to watch further. But from forum discussions, it appears that the baby is really cute and most of you would want her it to remain in the show.
I was just curious to know is why do you want her to remain in the show ?
Baby is cute and adorable but then which baby in this world isn't cute? Is Daya ready to be mother of another child ? Forget about legalities involved, being a mother again is such a huge responsibility. As an argument I agree that she can be a mother, a really good mother again but what will this baby bring in the show ?
As far as I remember this show was a comedy show and not family drama. It showed average middle class people who had funny situations happening in their life. If I think from CV's point of view, One can show tracks on nappy changing, or making the baby go to sleep. It might bring some laughter but then how long? We have enough shows on other channels which have baby being swapped, adopted kids and their custodies and what not for emotional drama.
A new cast member is badly needed in TMKOC but it could be Popat's wife or a new family which would bring some freshness. If not then they can still make fun tracks which involve other existing members like Sodhi or Popatlal and avoid the Gadas or their showroom workers for some days atleast.
Of coarse this is my opinion. I don't mean to offend anyone's sensitivities.
But would really appreciate your thoughts on why do you want the baby to be adopted by daya n jetha ? How will that help the show?
