So tonight, we got an insight into the mess Bindiya has created, I would not say mess, rather showed the mirror to the three characters ~ Priyom, Poonam and Lakhan,
Lakhan's Wounded Pride ~ Lakhan 'bailbuddhi' Thakur, has finally got a big time revelation of his life. He till date never ever questioned Poonam and Priyom's friendship, because till date the matter did not hurt his ego. Yes, its the ego here that is hurt, because he here fought for his girl and did not get what he wanted, inspite of being a Thakur. Till date nobody had the audacity to do khuspus about the Thakurs, but now people are talking about his fiance, which he does not like...
Don't know about love, but he definitely feels an ownership on Poonam, which person does that to the person they love, its not about love, its ego...Love is still a long way to come, abhi Dilli bahut door hai...aur aaj jo hua uske baad to, kuch zyaada hi dur hai...
And now, this friendship will always be a problem for him, because whatever Bindia said is etched in his mind, now he might have a problem, because he in no way is willing to lose Poonam. One more problem is his blind faith on Priyom, that he would rather slit his throat than go after his girl, which is bound to break, because i don't feel that Priyom can be trusted, evident in his behaviour today.
Priyom's Friendship ~ Today he also displayed the same 'ownership' that Lakhan usually displays. He was angry with the fact that Poonam did not share her problems with him, and spoke to Lakhan directly...Today Poonam gladly forgot about her bestie and was getting cosy with her would be hubby, which did not go down well with him. He feels that she is changing because she is now trying to be Lakhan's wife more and his friend less, something he does not like. He wants things to go back the way it was with Poonam always being the mediator between his two friends.
Now that Poonam has taken the initiative to be direct and frank with Lakhan, he is finding his relationship with her in danger. Till now, Priyom's friendship for Poonam has never been tested, but now the real test begins, and I have high doubts that whether he will pass with flying colors, as Lakhan's trust on him, is bound to be broken.
Poonam's Silence ~ Today, Poonam was all merry that Lakhan is concerned for her and cares for her deeply. But then Lakhan, the wounded lion came to her humble home and washed away all her happiness, by blaming her that she being a girl should take care that nobody speaks about his fiance behind his back, as it has hurt his pride, cos he was unable to gain what he wanted...
Poonam, who has been shown the mirror by Bindia in her questioning of her relationship with Priyom and Lakhan has taken a step towards being a good wife and not so good friend, just to prove that she is not wrong, that she is faithful to Lakhan and that he is important. And thus, when he asks her, she tells him and he beats the crap out of Bindia...
Now that the moral compass is being turned against her, she wants to prove her loyalty to Lakhan and who has never spoke to Lakhan out of fear, and used Priyom as a mediator, boldly tells Lakhan, what Bindia accused her of. Well in a certain way, it is hypocrisy, as she is trying hard to prove herself that she is not wrong and Bindia is not right, and so distancing herself from Priyom. Now after today whether she distances herself from Priyom and takes tiny steps towards Lakhan is what we have to wait and watch...
In short, Bindia has managed to pull down all the curtains of hypocrisy and put everything out in the open. Lakhan is a wounded lion who is not ready to sacrifice his pride, not even for Poonam. Priyom is turning possessive about his friend which is definitely going to create problems between Lakhan, Poonam and Priyom. And Poonam, to prove that she is morally right is trying to step up and take the initiative of being a good wife,and we have to see how successful it will be??
