If not her situation who wouldn't enjoy the beautiful sunrise on a cool morning that too on a country side!
Wrapping her dupatta tightly around her self she looked on to nowhere particular... what should she make out from his behaviour he comes closer to her... Makes her feel uneasy... then cares for her like she was too delicate who can't even handle a little burn... a small smile graced her lips thinking about how he simmered the whole tooth paste on her hands... making sure not to hurt her hand in his anger...
He is too rough n rude... it was so easy to hate him or dislike him... mom always used to say love n hate are two small words which weighed heavy... one should always be careful while using them... she didn't understand it then but now she knew it was too early to judge n too early to get disappointed!
Wonder where all her conviction goes when he is around... why does he make her feel like she is not up to his expectations!
looking at the sun which is already bright n shining she walked down to help maa n she had an important issue to ask...
Where there are few drops of dew there is also a a chance of muddy puddle nearby
He knew something was not at its place his wife was behaving strange it wasn't so obvious but it was not something that he would have left unnoticed too...
She is scared of him touching her!!
The way she finches away... the way her body goes stiff with his hugs... it was too clear that he wasn't liked by his wife... then why did she marry him...was it really for his money?? or was Ajit right she had a boyfriend in the city n married me under pressure!
He was lost in his thoughts when chotu called him asking him if he needed any thing else... looking at his still filled plate he looked at the little boy how was on a verge of crying as if he was going to be punished!
Smiling at him he asked to get another plate n shared his breakfast with him... just in a few minutes he was his maan bhai n he was even ready to share his batting turn with him in the evening match!!
Even such a small kid can accept him for what he is then y not her?? Is he any less compared to her... did she feel he was some illiterate rogue from the village... Or was her boyfriend more handsome n sophisticated that he didn't stand a bit in front of him!!
All this unwanted thought were only turning his mood to worse!
He was angry on self ... his family... her... her family... his jeep which broke down... and on every passing thing!
Looking at maa n dadi who were in some serious discussion about some piya she thought it wasn't right time... looking at her standing at the doorstep they stopped for a moment n started again this time dragging her into the conversation... and the serious discussion was regarding some telly show which has a last episode tonight as the show won't be aired on weekends!
Hights! She thought mentally cursing herself for even dropping by at such a time... smiling awkwardly she joined the topic poor her didn't have a choice did she...
She wasn't a person in to there telly dramas... where every situation is too much blown up like a balloon which was ready to burst any minute. .
She preferred sports more than anything any day!
After a while she gathered all her courage n asked what she wanted to from the morning!
The laundry!
Dadi just smiled at her n maa gave her the input that they had a maid who would do the washing n cleaning stuff bust rest we do it ourselves. ..
Only few expensive cloths are sent out for dry cleaning which nandu takes care of ...
Now that the maid is on leave for few days they do their own washing n basic cleaning... n for the help In kitchen she had sent someone temporary to fill in...
Getting the cue she excused herself n rushed to her room...
As the day almost came to an end she heard her maa talk to someone on phone she wouldn't have been interested if the topic wasn't her!
His heart was heavy with his new found info about college life n affairs... on top of it he wasn't even able to come back home the same night which means another day away from home from her. ...
Would she be happy with the news that he was away for another night? If so he didn't want to hear that happens in her tone...
What would he was already feeling miserable he didn't want to add to his already foul mood!
With just passing the info he cut the call... even before his maa would hand her the phone
She didn't know how to react she was relieved that she got another night and afraid that that the gap between them would get a bit more deeper!
If they say its just time. .. then I would smile n reply indeed it is a lifetime!
