I think even Nisha doesn't understand how much guilty RL, especially Ramesh feels for her past. Lakshmi has given him the strength, so has Dadaji to move past it and look at Nisha's present and future. But somewhere down, Ramesh blames himself which no one knows, definitely Nisha doesn't know.

Kabir should definitely have a talk with Ramesh after he knows her past, to reassure that nothing changes and in case Ramesh voices out his feelings, Kabir has to tell it to Nisha.

I would suggest not to open the thread..😊

For me, I believe one's past actions or one's own past shouldn't influence the present or the person shouldn't let it influence. I would talk in first person now. If I have a haunted past, I know I have a past like this and I would want to overcome it, or at least not let that affect my present. Even if it is very difficult to look beyond my past, I cannot give my past as an excuse for my present actions, especially when I am an adult and in my full consciousness.

Lol, not going to, don't worry 😆

That's what I believe, too! It's probably because I'm scarred by such characters... I just notice that around here (there's a German platform for stories, books etc...) people always insist that one should be careful while giving your character a tragic past - because due to it, the character could easily slip into Mary Sue/Gary Stue mode, depending on how the author uses this past in his/her story. You probably know Twilight? I hate that series 😆 Didn't like the female prota at all. Anyway, Edward was always in this self-pity mode because of what happened to him and what he had been turned out to be. Many people hate this self-pity mode. Same in the Manga "Naruto"- one of the protas had a horrible past and it was terrible, at first, but his self-pity turned soo annoying at some point that I started to hate him (his brother, who had it hard, too, never pitied himself- he went on with life as he thought it would be good - hik I loved 😆).

Maybe that's what's bothering me... Hope Viraj doesn't go down that lane 😒

That's true! But why do RN need someone else to come and bridge the gap? Can they not have a heart to heart conversation themselves?

Nisha is so like her father that ways.. closed off and not sharing her pain.

Have never read Twilight or will ever read.

I said it from my practical experience and from watching other shows. It needn't necessarily be a haunted past actually. It can be a huge mistake or some embarrassing moment also. Such incidents in the past have to be overcome in due course and shouldn't be let to influence the present.

I seriously don't understand why RN aren't able to talk openly considering Nisha did approach Ramesh when she had the panic attack and openly told him about not wanting to get married. Ramesh too openly told her how the reason is because he is her father, she is facing all problems. It's not that they can't talk openly, but Nisha is stopping herself I would say.

Ramesh and Nisha bottle up for sure, but there is a huge difference. There is no one to hear Ramesh out...but Nisha has which she doesn't want to use.

Never heard of that. What's it about? 😕

I watch SSEL, though am annoyed with current episodes 😆 There's also CAS on colors, but they are dragging it, so I watch it irregularly

And besides that, I'm loving the new show on Colors, Swaragini 😳

Expand all abbreviations..😆

Badi door is about an alien family which has taken human form and living in a society searching for their lost son...and how they cope up with the human nature...

Science fiction? Sounds interesting! Is it as interesting as it sounds? 😆

SSEL - Suhani si ek ladki. It's about how one shouldn't care about looks only when deciding to marry someone- looks can be deceiving. The male prota fell in 'love' with a girl wjwho is beautiful but ended up married to her best friend (who isn't good looking it his eyes), though that girl (lead) thought he was in love with her the whole time- the bubble burst now 😆

CAS - Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. Hystorical show that doesn't particularly follow the history, though it was interesting but is now really dragging.

And Swaragini- most interesting is that the leads are step-sisters (Swara's mother and Ragini's father never got married due to the father's family pressuring the father) and it got revealed within the first week 😆 I find the story of the parents who still love each other very interesting 😉
