He does understand him BUT he doesnt WANT to! He understands and shows it only when its extremely needed. other than that its always DKNG vs RDR with their staring competition. I wonder did they play staring competition in their earlier days and Moren used to lose in hardly 3 seconds, but Ramesh and Dadaji would go on for hours together, and maybe thats the reason, they still refuse to back out even today? 😆

That's right. Dadaji goes to console Ramesh only in extreme conditions, and also when it involves Nisha. But Holi moment was a HUGE surprise. I don't think we would get that moment again. May be next Holi...😆

Love the staring competitions. No yar...I think Ramesh also used to lose badly but has practiced all these years ON THE JOB and has reached this level now. Watch the scene, when Ramesh and Viren comes back after Nisha goes to trip and Dadaji and Ramesh having the first match in the tournament...😆 Ramesh takes a long time to meet Dadaji's eyes. He speaks lowering his head only. That was a nice touch. He still fears Dadaji and can't talk seeing his eyes, at least initially. But yes..once Ramesh gets the strength...the match becomes strong.

27th March
In all the confusions and the bizarre conditions the wedding happened, and in always thinking how much cousins and RL would miss Nisha, one person was completely forgotten. Dadaji. Dadaji was stern and strong during the wedding, as well as in the Bidaai that, it was forgotten how close Dadaji and Nisha were. Dadaji sees himself in Nisha and there have been many instances in the past and probably in the future also where they both are going to be at different ends of an argument.

It was so emotional to see Dadaji entering Nisha's room, looking around with an absent mind, seeing the photo of Nisha, taking it and memories flying back. He would miss Nisha for sure.

Ramesh- It was very evident that he would be really emotional considering the kind of bond Nisha and Ramesh shared. Also, we have seen many instances where Ramesh fears for Nisha and her future. It was a beautiful moment when the father and son entered the room through different doors, understanding what's going on in each other's mind completely, and giving the space without questioning much.

Nisha's photo slipping off from Dadaji's hand, and Ramesh catching it on time was very symbolic. Dadaji has been wrong many a times with his decisions regarding Nisha. Ramesh has always opposed it and fought with Dadaji and at the end made sure, wrong decisions aren't taken. At the end, both Dadaji and Ramesh wouldn't let Nisha fall down, how much ever they have problems between them. Wonderfully written and directed part.

I loved the fact that they didn't make it a sweet father-son scene, but still showed the distance between them. They can't sit together and share their sadness or happiness. They don't share that comfort.

Badolaji and Vivek were as usual superb! It was a very different kind of a scene from the usual. There was more silence involved than words and they both portrayed the silence, the sadness and uneasiness brilliantly.

It was an awkward moment for dadaji. He misses his poti and did not want to be seen by anyone and ramesh saw that. It showed that he really loves nisha very much. She is his favorite. He was not this senti after dolly ki shaadi too.
Vivek as usual was at his best. Loved him yesterday.
I felt somewhere ramesh wanted to comfort dadaji and was sad that he went away soon.
The photo scene was symbolic. Dadaji in his quest of getting beat for nisha may sometimes take the wrong decision but ramesh always stops it before its too late. Ramesh in a way is saving both nisha and dadaji. Truly a preserver.

The door symbolism is awesome shweta. They do have conflicting piv regarding nisha but want the same thing her happiness. There way of approaching her is clearly shown. Have u also noticed that dadaji used the main door form outside while ramesh used the door within their portion. It was like dadaji sees nisha's life from outsider's POV and ramesh sees from nisha's POV. From inside.

Yes. Dadaji was kind of irritated seeing Ramesh was there too. He wanted a private and lonely moment in the room.

I felt that too. Ramesh thought Dadaji would talk to him more, or they both can share their feelings with each other, but he left. But Ramesh does know Dadaji loves Nisha a lot. The way Dadaji saw the picture, and Ramesh saw Dadaji's tears was really good.

Photo slipping and the doors, both were symbolic. Somewhere Ramesh doesn't let Dadaji fail in his decisions but corrects it somehow. Happened during Nisha-Ritiesh time when Ramesh saved him from making a wrong decision by giving out an option. Same way...during CM too...Ramesh would save both at the end.

The door one...I thought the same too...but after I posted it. Both have different perspectives seeing Nisha's life. And you beautifully put it how Dadaji uses the main door while Ramesh uses the inner one. Good one. Though may not be a symbol...but at the end...Dadaji leaves...but Ramesh stays back in Nisha's life.
