Yesterday's scene of Kaajjal getting upset with Dev and tearing off her mangalsutra was just an imagination of Dev.
Instead he finds that Kaajjal is in a very loving mood as he goes home to her … and she actually has decorated a whole room with romantic lights and made a cake with the words "For the world's best husband" ... and she declares how she loves him ... as despite so many trials by Shivansh, Dev never believed the rumours of her affair with Aditya!
Dev is very alarmed with her words and very guilty. As Kaajjal hugs Dev, Nandini is watching their lovey dovey scene from outside the room.
Nandini later that night feels bad that she is very much missing such love from her own husband ... who by greed went into the wrong path!
But as Nandini goes to the kitchen, in the dark Karan appears, asks her to keep quiet and says he came to see her. She angrily says "Unless you get Dev's and the family's forgiveness, I cannot accept you back in my life!" Karan looks evil and thinks: "So this Dev has now got to be managed for me to come back home … and Shivansh is my route for that!"
Shivansh is then shown entering a dark house in search of his goon, when he suddenly finds that goon dead on the floor. Karan appears there and says "Do you recognise me, I am the one from the casino? I am also the one your goon hired to kill Aditya but when I saw Kajal I did not kill her ... as she was my brother Dev's wife!" Shivansh is shocked.
They both then hatch a plan to work together - as Karan tells about his enmity with Dev and Shivansh tells about the mobile phone recording he has with him. Karan says he has a clever plan to trap Dev without both of them getting caught!
Karan then goes to Aditya and tells Aditya (in secret using mute voice, so we don't hear his words) all about how Dev plotted to kill him and Kaajjal, and thus makes Aditya raving mad with Dev!
Karan then tells Aditya and Dev separately that the other one is waiting in some old factory shed and thus he makes them both meet there.
Karan also rings Kajal that she should go to that factory shed also as something horrible is about to happen. Kajal is shocked with this anonymous call.
At the factory shed, Dev and Aditya exchange very angry words as Aditya accuses Dev of suspicion and attempt to murder. Dev just looks guilty but before he can adequately explain, Aditya turns a gun on Dev.
They both fight to avoid the gun, just as Kaajjal reaches there. She sees the gun being twisted at Aditya in the wrestling between the two men, and then the gun goes off killing Aditya and making Dev look like the murderer.
Kaajjal runs in horror towards Aditya as Dev looks utterly devastated by what has happened.
Kajal asks Dev what has he done? Just then Shivansh comes there clapping in congratulations that his enemy Aditya has been eliminated by the great Dev ... and his pativrata wife Kaajjal is the only witness.
He asks her: will she testify against her husband Dev in this murder … especially as she poses always as one in pursuit of truth and justice?
Then he starts playing the recorded mobile video to Kajal as Dev watches in horror. Kajal is stunned by what she hears.
Shivansh proceeds then to boast about how cleverly he had been chasing down Aditya all these years by hooking him into a fake murder case of that girl at his party and then how he even made Kajal and Aditya look like lovers etc. He pats himself on the back in a self-congratulatory way and starts drinking a toast to himself.
Just then, as Shivansh has openly explained all the evil he did in the past to trap Aditya, Kajal etc. Karan enters the picture and says "Not so fast, Shivansh Kapoor …" Everyone is stunned to see Karan there! Freeze.
Clearly Karan is double-crossing both Dev and Shivansh!
(But because Karan has actually talked to Aditya in mute voice, we are noit sure what he said ... maybe he even said to Aditya to act dead saying "We will both expose Shivansh and save Dev!" ...
Thus there is a possibility that Aditya may not be really dead ... but if so, it is clear that he is also somehow being employed unwittingly in Karan's deeper plot under some false bahana?)
