Karan Patel ditches Kamya; to marry Ankita Bhargava
Some 'love stories' live forever, while some are meant to die down!
Well, we are talking about one such love story that blossomed - that of Karan Patel and Kamya Punjabi. But now, we have chanced upon the sad news that Karan has apparently ditched Kamya, and is on road to get married to another damsel from the industry!
Yes, and the lucky girl happens to be Ankita Bhargava who was last seen essaying sister to Karan Sharma in Sony TV's Ek Nayi Pehchaan.
A reliable industry source confides in us, "Karan and Kamya were smitten in love, but Karan's parents apparently were not happy with the idea of their son marrying a divorce with a kid. And the parents' boy, Karan found it easy to move on and do what his parents wanted him to."
This is where the next chapter of love opened up for Karan, when he met Ankita Bhargava through close friend and co-star from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Aly Goni.
Our source further adds on, "Karan and Aly bond like brothers off-screen and Aly took it upon himself to choose a bride for Karan. He was the one who was instrumental in making Karan meet up with Ankita for the first time. And things soon fell in place for the duo, and now they are on the threshold of getting married."
Well, what's more? Things have really shaped up well for Ankita and Karan, as it is believed that they are getting married on 2 May.
For the uninitiated, Ankita's parents Abhay Bhargava and Kiran Bhargava are well-known actors in the industry. And the strangest co-incidence is that Abhay Bhargava plays father-in-law (Mr.Iyer) to Karan in his show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
We tried our level best to get in touch with Karan and Ankita, but failed to do so.
Our efforts to reach Kamya were also futile.
We hear that Kamya who had gone to the extent of tattooing Karan's name on herself, is completely distraught and shattered at the moment. And as for Karan, the man has apparently broken the news of his wedding on the set of his show.
Well, love is blind is what we have heard! But in this case, its created a mess in one woman's life, while it has worked wonders for another woman!
