Chapter 11:
So Manorama afterall is not wampish or a sadist. I am glad she wants her daughter-in-law to stand up for her rights and follow her dreams freely. But despite of everything, she still continues to be a woman defined by her pride. Infact I think, 'pride' is synonymous to her personality.
Manorama's words should have assured Payal about her MIL's intentions of getting her married to Akash. And marriage se yaad aaya, Payal-Akash have become quite boldly romantic. Acha hai!
Subhadra Malik! She is a true wamp. Bas! Some people really have their insights and the basic foundations of their lives stemming from baseless and outdated beliefs. The point that Subhadra used to demean Khushi was not just crap but downright pathetic. I am glad she was given a fitful reply every time she opened her mouth. Mein hoti toh fevi quick laga deti. Na khulta mooh, na hoti insult.
The only good that happened after Subhadra's outburst was the ArHi patch up (and them making out obviously 😳). I wish Khushi would tell Arnav about her conversation with Manorama because that will seriously clear out so many things.
Anyway, I wonder how will Akash step into his room without remembering the possibilities of all that could have had possibly taken place between his (not-so) Chote and (not-so) Choti. 😉
Chapter 12:
The date started on a perfect note, especially with none of the elders being home. It was planned pretty well too, keeping all her likes and preferences in her mind. Her efforts were nowhere less; she did deck herself in his favourite colour, a stunning saree and a backless blouse. A boat ride on an almost full moon night (it sounded quite romantic to me) was beautiful. Their conversation did steer towards the unwanted territories but I am glad it was out, once and for all.
A grumbling stomach had to make an appearance; their date would have remained quite incomplete otherwise! 😆
It was ending on a perfect note too, what with him finally getting a chance to explore her in a way he loves the most. But the eventual end was a shocker. I am not sure what to expect but I really hope Akash stands by, them this time around. 😕
Chapter 13:
Savita and Aman have crossed the awkward phase and have hit along quite well. They are quite aware of the other's feelings and have conveniently kept it under the wraps, instead, bringing their easy banter to the fore. I loved the way he calls her 'beautiful' and she in-turn silently supports him. And after knowing the fact that they were responsible in irking Subhadra has made me their fan. Ye dono masst hai!
Akash ki baatein sunkar mein aankhein band karoon ya mere kaan! I can understand how mortified or rather scandalised Khushi (Thank God for the little mercy in the form of Payal) must have felt but I am glad she faced it all with maturity. She not only refused to give in to the lure of living with Arnav but also kept her father's pride by refusing to change her earlier decision.
Their confrontation was unique and I am happy that it finally happened (Thank God for the emotional outbursts).
I don't know whether to side with Manorama and understand her plight or to knock some sense into her brain and make her see how wrong she is in understanding Khushi. What happened with her in the past was really unfortunate, especially at a time when the society wasn't at its relenting best but blaming Khushi now is not the deal. If she can accept Anjali's marriage and trust Payal to be ideal for her son, she should understand that Khushi has inherited all her ethics and traditions from the same parents like Payal and would never be the one repeating the past. If nothing else, she should realize how intricately her sons are woven in Khushi's love and affection and trying to untangle them would mean the end of them.
Khushi's mother and her father were not at a mistake either. They simply acted out on impulse and because they were in love. So blaming them would be unethical too. So despite it being no one's fault, everyone is suffering, probably in the hands of destiny and fate.
I am not sure of how much Akash has heard but I hope he helps his mother come out of her past.
Waiting for the final part.
Update soon. 😊
