" geet..are u okay..." maan asked.. worriedly... She was totally wrecked... Hence he drove as fast as he could...

Geet was numb.. the visions of that goon firing the bullet was fresh in her mind..

" geeet" maan shook her hard holding her shoulders.. they were out of petrol..and thus car had broken down.. Thankfully they were far away from DEV..and his men..

Tears spilled out of her eyes...and she hugged him...in fear..

" shh..geet" maan brushed her hairs..to soothe hair...But in response she tighten her arms..around him.. her lips were quavering as she sobbed in in his arms..

" I..i..thought..U..u.." she fumbled..frightfully..

Like he understood her words..he responded..." no geet..i m never gona leave u.never ever.."

His words...came a s balm on her pain...as she swallowed those words..deep inside her mind..

Maan made a small tent..and arranged dinner for them..

Geet was still lost... In her own thoughts.. She was missing rano..a lot.. She recalled her promise...what would have happened..if rano would been alive..and maan wasn't with her..

Her eyes filled up again..

What did she do..to have been granted as a lifetime..of pain

" geeet..." Maan called out..sitting next to her..

She got startled with his voice and immediately wiped of her tears..

" even if u wipe ur tears..i can still see them..geet.." he uttered softly..

She glanced him...

" why maan?? Throught my life no one other than my mom..saw these tears..and no one gave a shit about them..why are u so worried for me..who are u ...??" She gasped...

Maan cupped her face...not able see the hurt and pain on her face..

" geet..look into my eyes..' she shook her head..violently shrugging his hands..

" geet pelase...look at me.." he pleaded...holding her tight

She gave up..and raised her eyes to meet his..

" look at me...do u still feel..I don't care about u..or i m gona leave..u??"

His eyes were shinning...with sincerity and truth

Her eyes..couldnt ignore the genuineness they held..

" trust me geet i m not here to cause u any problem..m here to take u far away from this...i promise..i do no intent to harm in any way...but i cant reveal..my identity helpless...'

His voice turned heavy..

" i promise..the day i take u away from all this..i will till u everything... I will admit every fact every truth that i m hiding..."

His helplessness was evident in his voice and eyes... After indulging so much of... deception She knew this wasnt a lie ..

she retorted towards him..embracing him..

Maan reciprocated her hug..smiling a little..

NEXT MORNING

A small smile crept his face...as he stared down..the spotless sleeping beauty..lying next to him..

He chuckled..remembering how her hands entangled...in his..when he got up this morning..

He had..made one tent of her...and asked her to sleep inside..while he thought of spending the night..outside

However in morning..he found geet curled next to him...

He leaned in..tucking her tresses behind her ear...

He ran his eyes all over her petite figure.. she was still dressed in loose shirt..and jeans... Inspite of this she looked heavenly..

His eyes fell on her lips..Oh..his mind was turning naughty..

" hmmm..." she moaned...due to sharp sunlight falling on her eyes..

Maan leaned..closer..covering her in order to avoid those lights...screening..her face..

She smiled..cutely...opening her hazels...only to get captured in his chocolate brown eyes..

She blinked her eyes..feeling his breath on her face..

Unknowingly red hue broaden..on her cheek...

" oh...sorry..." maan broke his gaze..lifting himself up..

Geet straightened herself...and got up..

" ah..geet..i have bought some fresh fruits..u can have them..and then we should leave...we have to get going as dev's men..might me following us...we have to get out of here..." Maan uttered...looking away from her..

She nodded..her head

" will u be able to run??" he asked gently..

She nodded...smiling a bit..

" yes .."

" okay.."

" how can u lose her??????' dev gritted holding the man's chin

" ahhh" he kicked..him hard...

" i want that s**t...along with the guy ..GET me those bas***d..or else..i m going to kill all of u.."

" get going..." he growled..

He fished out his cell

" hello... Mishra get the whole...city under ur surveillance.. I want that s**t under me...in the next 24 hours.."

" lets go...we can take this forest route...cmon geet." After grabbing his bag pack...he held geet's hand..in his..and sprinted...in the forest ...

" but maan y cant we take our jeep..' she questioned...matching his pace

" no geet..that woulnt be safe for us..plus..we are out of petrol...forest route is safe we can..cross villages...and reach out of the city...' he replied...

" ohkaay..."

The continued... running in the forest..making their way outside the city..

" ahh..." Geet yelped... in pain..clutching his hand tighter..

" geet..what happened,..." maan reached besides..her...and knelled down..examining her foot..

" ahhh" she moaned..when he pulled out the small bark that was dunged in her foot

" shhh..geet its okay...we need to take u to the doc...this might be poisonous.." He muttered...cupping her face..

doc...huh..maaan.." she panicked..

" don't worry geet mai hu..na..i wont let anything happen to u" he claimed...picking her up in his arms.. She nodded her head..and wrapped her hand around his neck..implying her trust fro him..

" we have almost reached the village..we can find some help..there " He himself was horrified..within... they were very much inside the forest..and it wont be easy to move out towards the city...

Maan ran..through the bushes..as fast as he could..each passing minute worsen geet's condition..her foot was blue..and her skin was dehydrating...

" geeet open ur eyes..geeet " he got alarmed when she dint open her eyes...

He lowered himself...placing her down on the ground..

He frantically checked her pulse..it was falling..out

" geeet don't geet...dont...nooo" he patted her face..

" geeet..open ur eyes geet"

He brushed his hair..backwards..contemplating on her condition

" how can she..fall out just because of that poisonous tree..." he roared

His heart was was heaving..wildly..facing her numb body..before his eyes..

" i..wont let this happen to u geet..no.." he vowed...and started exploring her body to determine the real cause..

He checked her forehead..and her face..her neck.. he scanned her foot which was..blue.. he bit his lip..and once again.. inspected her body..

To his luck..he found something wrong under her waist..he instantly raised her shirt...and his eyes widen...in reflex..
