New to this forum, and kinda suprised

Just for a quick intro, I'm new here. Live in Hayward, California. Been a long time lurk just snooping the forums but finally i decided to start posting. I'm just gonna list my favourite contestents real quick so i can get the biases out of the way. For me its, mussarat, poonam and amanat, so if I frequently give them praise, you'll knw why:P

Now i don't want anything i say to be taken personally, it's just my opinion. I feel that this forum consists of 2 kinds of fans. First are those who are fimiliar with singing, or have common sense about sur and taal. These are the ones who recognize that their favourite singer might not be the best, and that there are others better than him/ her, or recognizes mistakes and votes accordingly.

Then theres the fans who just go for the looks, the useless things that the show is not about. Lets take mauli for example. She is not terrible, but she does not belong there with the rest. She reminds me of sanjaya from american idol. The loveable character who everyone found amusing. At first i could stand her, but after she destroyed some of my favourite songs, I cant even watch her performances. Despite getting such low scores in the independence day episode, she's still on the competition. My guess is, dont take this personal international voters, but theres alot of demographical voting. She is from U.S, my oppinion is that alot of her fan following is comes from there and countries such as europe, etc. She has looks, and everyone seems to be fasinated with her Western style. It just doesnt cut it, I beg of you hardcore mauli fans. Sure she is a great person, funny, all that, but recognize she just doesn't belong there. Once again my opinion. This is the same for Junaid. Theres already a thread about how the girls are keeping junaid in. He is a damn good singer, but its almost like mauli. Other factors are keeping him in other than singing.

Way to often i see threads where they ask whos the best that day. Everyone is entitled to their oppinion, but when you say that mauli was the best on independence day episode, i don't know what to say. Sorry im always attacking mauli, but shes the first thing that comes to mind when i think of bad.

Please people, just try to keep the best singers in the show. Not the best looks or funny jokes and crap. Other than that, I look forward to start posting on this forum.

I won't say anything about Mauli because it would be cliche.

Agreed...voting should be based on singing and other singers should get their fair share of praise but more importantly votes.

The emphasis on should but ofcourse people can vote for whoever they want based on whatever they want.

cuz whoever wins only gets a car n money der is no prize realte dto singign so da good ones will def. get some workk but da winner isn nessacarily getting any break from finding a singing job

sorry I sound like a Mauli fan here, which I'm not, actully I don't like her either, but I believe in live and let live... 😳
how can you say to mauli fans not to vote... and if you talk about looks well, I thin sumedha is better looking than mauli 😳

don't force anyone to vote for this reason or that, are you going to pay their bills 😕
